Go get em 5150---now I want to give you a heads up. The fools on this board or going to say well they won those national championships with the big time guys Kiffin recruited and coached up. Not to mention he was the passing game coordinator. Stay strong though, I think they are beginning to listen.

:good!:
What was USC's strong point?

You know, when you're that much in love with someone, all logic and responsible thinking just flies right out the window.

I know most of you adore this man, but this is getting a little bit ridiculous.

There is not a poster on this site that likes Kiffin as much as you dislike him. You criticizing others for their logic and responsibility is the height of hypocrisy.

Why should we trust the opinions of John Gruden, Pete Carroll, and Mike Hamilton, when we have brillian Fulmer supporters like 5150 talking to us? They know all about success in the 90's.

oh, oh, oh......I am sorry. He was "PASSING COORDINATOR".

Wow. The USC passing coordinator is was responsible for the #1 recruiting classes.

He was the primary recruiter for a whole hell of a lot of good players.

Location duh? You did not know. 5150 knows. It is clear that if you have a school in the middle of a ghetto in S. Cal you are guaranteed top recruits and NCs. Thus UT's only hope is to move the campus to Memphis.

Gee, with all the hate going, just change the name from 5150, to 5-15-0. Same numbers, but that way you can get the Kiffin resentment out there even more, considering that is is head coaching record.......Or, is that just a secret type of man-crush thing going on.........

BTW JUST KIDDING:D

So far, all Kiffin has done is get Gordon and secure a few re-commitments. He has lost Giles, we lost Herbert to Florida today which is big considering our lack of depth at DT, and we are going to end up losing Stokes. Not to mention the kids he said no thanks to.

What exactly has he done?

Let me just say this.............Kiffin never was an "expert recruiter", and this will be proven over the next two months. Again, this perception was built based on a couple of comments made by former coaches, and (believe it or not) coaches are constantly "promoting" each other and exaggerating the accomplishments of former employees.

But the proof is in the pudding, and you will see that all this garbage propagated by the "Kiffinites" was one big fat lie.

he declined his visit to knoxville after going to florida last week. As far as you bashing him, all these coaches have had 4 years to have a relationship with these kids, he has had 2 weeks. Why don't you give him a year or 2 before you say the kid can't recruit. I don't guess bruce pearl could either since tyler decommited and he told the dodson kid he couldn't fit in. Please give him time before all the bashing

how in the heil can you compare kiffin to pearl ?

It is a little early to expect a top 10 class... but I do see the point of the thread... He is supposedly the best thing to come to UT since they started serving sliced bread.. You would think that he could at least keep the ones we had... To be honest I'm not sure he is a better recruiter than Fulmer though... I think PF was one of the best in the bussiness at recruiting.... Maybe we are expecting to much from Kiffin, hopefully he can make it up with the coaching side of it....

Really dare you to say that to his face. He has lost nothing. Herbert and Giles Decommitted from UT before Kiffin was hired. They only reconsidered UT because they liked Kiffin, If Phil was here we still lose these guys IMO. He dumped Boyd and Bryce.
