At Sam and Andy's, I usually went with a hoagie on dark. But in the game room/deli inside Shelborne Towers right outside Horizon's, for some reason, I always went a turkey and cheddar on white.
I loved living on campus. If there wasn't anything happening down on The Strip, you could usually find something interesting to do at Horizons or Hymies. If not, a short drive down Alcoa Hwy to Uncle Sam's was in order.
I was in my "apartment" at Andy Holt. I preferred the Falcon over Hymies, too. If I'm remembering right, they tried to open a Maltese Falcon down closer to the strip, but it didn't last long. I think it was BD's Deli next to the Falcon in Shelbourne Towers, where I spent many late nights waiting in line for a pastrami and smoked cheddar on dark.I preferred the Hymies (“Slymies”) space better when it was the Maltese Falcon selling pitchers of Hurricanes.
