I guess your point that since BP is not Coach K, Roy Williams, or Bill Self, he isn't worth retaining. I keep hearing that we can get someone just as good, but what I'm not hearing is the name of this gentleman.

The point is we've had decent results since he's been here. Outside of the Elite Eight game, it's nothing that hasn't been done here before. And this year, we have two McDonald's All-Americans in the starting lineup in a garbage conference, and we're essentially a bubble team.

I'd say he's a good coach. He's better than marginal.

He's nowhere near good enough for it to be worth the abyss the program would fall into if we waited out a long-term suspension of him.

There is the elite level of coaches in this country. Bruce pearl is just below them on the next tier.

We advanced one game further in the tournament than we had before. Take that out, and then compare Pearl and Jerry Green and tell me what you find out.
