Nope. OSU played a tougher schedule and has fewer losses. If Penn State had only one loss, they should get in. But they don't.

Conference champion and H2H winner are basically the same thing. Listing them separately is redundant

Said differently, the argument for Penn State is basically that their victory over OSU got them to the conference championship AND then allows them to play the "we won our conference" card AND negates OSU's superior record AND better wins/tougher schedule. All because of one 3-point victory, at home. I don't see it.

Thats because its BS. PSU got punished for winning its conference. You and some others can argue against PSU all you want but a P5 conference champ should be in the playoffs. That shouldnt even be a debate.

Getting "punished" for it would be moving down in the standings. They didn't get punished. They just weren't in the top 4

I agree PSU should have gotten in, but it wasn't so much they were punished as they weren't rewarded enough for winning their conference.

And I agree about a P5 conference winner should get into the playoffs, but that is only happening if they move to 8 teams and make the P5 conference winners get auto bids. Right now if every P5 conference champ went undefeated, someone is still getting left out.
