AFAIK, with USC getting a 2 year bowl ban, Jr's and Sr's on USC will be able to transfer schools with no penalty. Is anyone familiar with the USC depth chart that might know of some players we can take? It would be nice to bring in some quality OL and DL.

How about Mustain?

he was undefeated as a starter in the SEC....Our top 2 QB's now haven't won a single D1 football game. I, for one, wouldn't mind seeing Mustain come on campus (even if it is a pipe dream)

I don't see any reason Mustain would stay.

I would bet Kiffin uses his powers of his mouth and motivates most of the Trojan Jr. and Sr. starters to stick around and give their all for USC.

But some guys, like Mustain, who are buried on the depth chart and could easily transfer and compete for a starting job will get the hell out of Dodge.

He knows he's not going to start there, and he's lucked up into a free pass to transfer. I'd get out of there if I were him.

Yep, LVDB knows.

Even if this is all true, ESPN and the Networks will keep USC alive during every commentary, if for nothing else but to keep the west coast viewers. This "PAC-16" thing might hurt them worse than the NCAA. If they go backwards and the Conf. gets stronger it could be a while before Kiffy gets rollin (if he can even do it clean).

Mustain. We could use him. Apparently he has corrected his attitude problems and our QB's have zero experience in SEC ball.

I think we should go after Mustain and all of the lineman on both sides of the ball that we can get from them

we would have to be careful in how we "went after" another team's players....Mustain needs to leave USC before we can really do anything.

Well we definitely should not have a problem giving out scholarships. Probably have more room than most.

Yeah I know what you mean. Im just saying that if any of those players left we need to be in their ear.

This will be very tough for them to come back from quickly. No bowl games and a loss of 20+ scholly's is BADDDD. All that CA talent will start heading to your conference Rivals, Cal and UCLA. Oregon is already legit. Now you throw in the Longhorns and the Sooners a competition? I sure wouldn't want the job of rebuilding the program.

And these college coaches are gonna beat it recruits heads that Orgeron was the recruiting coordinator that landed Reggie Bush and Kiffin was on the staff too. They were a part of this scandal. That will do major damage considering most people are already very wary of them anyways.

This will set them back 5-10 years imo. This happened to them at exactly the wrong time.
