This will be very tough for them to come back from quickly. No bowl games and a loss of 20+ scholly's is BADDDD. All that CA talent will start heading to your conference Rivals, Cal and UCLA. Oregon is already legit. Now you throw in the Longhorns and the Sooners a competition? I sure wouldn't want the job of rebuilding the program.
And these college coaches are gonna beat it recruits heads that Orgeron was the recruiting coordinator that landed Reggie Bush and Kiffin was on the staff too. They were a part of this scandal. That will do major damage considering most people are already very wary of them anyways.
This will set them back 5-10 years imo. This happened to them at exactly the wrong time.
I truly believe it would have only been a matter of time before we would have gotten ourselves in some sort of trouble like this. I'm so thankful Kiffin is gone, and even though Carroll and staff gave the USC fans some good years, I bet they are second guessing themselves right about now
we would have to be careful in how we "went after" another team's players....Mustain needs to leave USC before we can really do anything.
Not true, it's going to be a free for all. This is from the Trojan board, who got it from Rivals:
Quote:
After the Committee on Academic Approval approves schools, USC SRs and JRs will be able to be recruited by other programs.
Quote:
Lane Kiffin and USC will get notified which schools recruit their players.

Also, if you are transferring and have your option to go anywhere, are you going to come to a rebuilding project in TN or go to a team that may be 1-2 pieces away from being a contender.
Seriously, I think that is a fair question to ask. Not all of them will necessarily have that option, but if they are good enough, then they will.
Ok, question to the board. What players do you WANT from USC? I say Kalil, Martin Coleman, Broderick Green
It would not surprise me if most of the Seniors stay. If they are happy at USC, and can get over not playing in a bowl game, then I could understand staying. Afterall, they will still get to play next season and it will not hinder their chances for the NFL if they are good enough.
