We do this garbage every year. When do we decide to enforce our will. Jeez… it’s laughable at this point. It may drop them below the highest #2 seed and that would move them into a Purdue/UConn/Houston bracket. Even if the Vols and Santi/JJJ somehow come out of their offensive funk of the last two games playing themselves into a lower #2 seed may make any hopes of a Final Four much much harder. So yes this tourney loss may very much matter.
If you don’t think this loss has an impact on a potential 1 seed and a lower 2 seed you need to go back to the kids table. They are working on the brackets right now and not considering these tournaments. Thats how they can produce the brackets a few hours after the finals. There are a lot of people involved and they all must agree.
Probably not. I don't think the conference tournaments are weighed into the NCAA Tournament seeding. The cake is baked. North Carolina will get the 4th #1 seed .... and that's how it should be. They have the head to head over Tennessee. I think the OP is wrong that Tennessee will be pushed out of the 1st 2 seed.Does UNC losing to Pitt help us in seeding?
Overreaction right back at ya Bowl. There was nothing about that statement that was untrue or unkind. I didn’t say we would lose to a 15, just that we should be most concerned with our own team and the next game rather than meeting up with a 1. Good grief dude.An absurd overreaction .... typical of VolNation.
If that's all you meant, then I apologize. I can agree with this.Overreaction right back at ya Bowl. There was nothing about that statement that was untrue or unkind.
