I don't know of any conclusive evidence that they have medicinal properties, other than some studies linking moderate wine consumption to decreased CV disease (and even these could include some confounding variables). Obviously, alcohol is a sedative and depressant, so it could provide short-term symptom relief, but potentially withdrawal effects/hangover/sleep disturbance long-term.Hey, as a doctor... is whiskey/bourbon good for you medically? is it good for a cold/flu/C-19? I only ask because I've stayed well stocked of these items along with Vitamin C/D/zinc and have dodged C-19 and the common flu the past few years.
Is Jack Daniels the cure for C-19?
