White House Attacks Fox News Again

a Pres would have to take a paternity test on Maury to get lower than an appearance on Beck

He may have to go on the show for that test after he sent chills up someone's leg.
Beck would hammer him in a debate. But as we know Hussein won't go where the questions would not be friendly

I actually agree with some of what they say. Even when I am not watching their opinion programming, I always feel the news that is reported has more of a slant than what I would consider their primary competition, CNN. That may be because I tend to lean to the left, so I just don't see it. But, I try to be objective about these things, and FoxNews typically rubs me the wrong way.

I will say that there is at least a difference between the opinion programming and the news programming, which should have been acknowledged once the administration opened their mouth about this (which they shouldn't have done in the first place). Maybe it is just because the opinion programming is such a bigger part of FoxNews? Perhaps I say that because I turn Lou Dobbs off at the first chance I have, so I don't see a lot of CNN's opinion programming....

...Couldn't agree more! I want news that is objective, and I can't watch Fox News without asking myself what really is news and what is opinion and speculation? IMO, they run bias stories supporting their conservative agenda to get ratings from Republican viewers. Simple as that! Most republicans hate Obama... and so they choose to write up stories to attack him! They don't want to praise him and lose viewers do they?!

Because lord knows that one can't bash Obama and be objective.

Praise him like the other news orgs? Seriously, the press has been asleep at the wheel from an overdose of Hopium and Obamania. Fox is the only org questioning him.

Please tell me where you "tune in" to get this "objective" news coverage.

Fox News is composed of a bunch of journalistic hacks. Dumb move by the BO admin? Maybe. But it's nice to see them put in their place.

So Obama won't debate issues with Beck because it is beneath him? But it's not beneath him to send his attack dogs to other media stations to attack Beck where Beck (and/or Hannity, etc.) can't respond to the accusations, and to encourage other media outlets to exclude Fox from the White House press corps? Makes perfect sense...

If Beck is such a conspiracy theory lunatic, it should be a simple matter for one of Obama's top communicators to make him a fool on camera, right? Why doesn't he do that instead of stifling the open debate he promised while he was campaigning?

So in your mind freedom of the press and freedom of speech are overrated? You feel we would be better off with no watch dogs keeping tabs on the government and asking pertinent, if uncomfortable, questions? Watergate was a travesty of justice, the press should have "stayed in their place" on that one, too?

If there is such a thing as journalistic integrity the media will have to look back on the period leading up to the election and (at least) the early years of BHO's presidency and be disappointed in their institution. There has been a different standard for him for some time. They love a good story....too much. While this fact alone isn't BHO's fault - he has willfully taken full advantage of it. And, when that bias might not be in his favor, it seems he really don't know what to do.

If by "treated Bush like he was a piece of trash you mean "held Bush accountable" then you have a point.

Can't wait until he creams the vast majority of the print media and the remainder of the TV news world. Unfortunately, in that process, he's going to have to shat on the liars that created him.

Considering the more pressing issues going on in the world Saint Obama going after FoxNews is a bit ridiculous. You don't agree with me? Ok, we'll take your news network down. The American way. Our way or be shown the door. Solid work by our socialist leader who has accomplished absolutely nothing in 10 months in office.

Obama must have never heard the old adage, never get in an arguement with someone who buys ink by the barrell
