White supremacist mows down mosque in NZ

Well Central Nigeria probably imports nothing from us and we import nothing from them.
Exactly. Thats the way the USA works. Have nothing we want? Screw you then. I was in the service during the Darfur genocide in Sudan and I always wondered why no one, and I mean NO ONE, went to help those people. Instead? Invaded Iraq...

This is really a question for the Bible thread. But in a sentence or 2, God should be feared. He does not tolerate sin, and believers are held to a higher standard than non believers. There are 2 types of sin, sin of commission...wrongdoing or desires to..and sins of omission, knowing to do right and not doing so, like helping someone in need. I am guilty of both, God hates it, and I ask forgiveness for my sin. He is faithful and just, and forgives me...but asking isnt a "get out of jail free card"...sin has consequences. People are punished for it, myself included. I am not proud of some of the things i have said in this thread. I get aggravated when people far more educated than me use logical fallacy (like appeal to authority of a muslim who wrote an article) to try and defend their illogical and intellectually lazy positions. I have a GED...if you cant defeat my logic and intellect in an argument without appeals to authority and other fallacies...your position is BS and you either know it, or are an idiot. Not you, of course.
Forgiveness in Christianity is not deed based. So your 'sin of omission' is wrong. It doesn't matter. You believe, you are forgiven. At least that is the way I understand it.

And another question: Why is everybody concerned with the afterlife, and the current life's decisions influence upon that, yet no one is interested in the billions of years that preceded this 'test'? And the other thing I find interested is that I have never been so ill prepared for a test in my mortal life as I am for the one that will determine forever. That, to me is not a 'loving' God's way to herd his flock.

Media Silence Surrounds Muslim Massacre of Christians

Political leaders and public figures were falling over themselves this weekend to condemn the mosque attacks in New Zealand, while dozens of Christians were slaughtered by Muslims in Nigeria to the sound of crickets.

The mosque attacks were indeed a horrific affair and worthy of universal condemnation. Presidents, prime ministers, royalty, and religious leaders rushed to extend their condolences to victims and their families — as well they should — while decrying the hate that purportedly motivated the shootings.

Without exception, the mainstream media gave top billing to the shootings, with newspapers carrying the story on their front pages and television news channels leading off their broadcasts with the story.

The bizarre aspect of the coverage was not, in fact, the attention paid to a heinous crime committed in New Zealand, but the absolute silence surrounding the simultaneous massacre of scores of Christians by Muslim militants in Africa.

As Breitbart News alone reported among major news outlets, Fulani jihadists racked up a death toll of over 120 Christians over the past three weeks in central Nigeria, employing machetes and gunfire to slaughter men, women, and children, burning down over 140 houses, destroying property, and spreading terror.

So I watched the video and the shooter was all excited about how awesome it was to livestream the shooting but I think he was bummed he had to stop killing and pick up some magazines he dropped. What a f###### lunatic.
Yeah and he called it a “firefight”. Shooting unarmed people is not a firefight. It’s just murder.

I can’t understand how broken someone’s brain has to be to think that was a plan he needed to carry out.

50 murdered Muslims and the Maoists are Outraged.

More than 100 Christians are murdered by Muslims, and no one seem to care.
Weird. You didn’t seem to care about the 50 murdered Muslims and instead made a snide political remark and then doubled down. I wonder what the difference is?🤔

Being hypocritical to own the hypocrites is the ultimate political move

You and Tums are averse to facts so my answers would be meaningless to you both. It must be a glorious to live in fact-free echo chamber (as a bonus, this an answer to one of your questions but it's likely you can't put 2 and 2 together and figure it out.
it must be glorious to live in your echo chamber where you never have to express your actual points.

The PF is for that very thing. I have no idea why people avoid it.

I'm all for education, but the other party has to be receptive to it. Look around this forum and you'll find a discouraging amount of people who consider opinion as fact, fact as opinion, and who would call into question the integrity and motive of a person of the opposite ideology even if that person said the sky was blue.

It saddens me how precious few come here to expand their understanding and learn what they can from those with differing viewpoints. It's more just thread after thread of chest-thumping and virtue signaling and people melting down like snowflakes while calling other people snowflakes.

The comforting thoughts in all of this are that most of the people fighting the hardest would likely still go out and have a round of beers with each other if given the chance, and even open forms such as this are generally more representative of the periphery of ideological movements as opposed to the rank and file.
standing offer to anyone who finds themselves in Atlanta. First round is on me.
