The real question is...does Croom believe in himself.

looking back now, Guess I was a little late to this party

I sure hope he does well but Ive not seen anything that makes me beleive he going to. Seems to have stone hands. Hope he shows me something different.

he doesn;t have to show you,as long as the coaches believe, that's all that matters.

If the coaches believe were going to win, it doesnt make it so. What do you think the coaches are gonna say to him? I can hear it now....Croom you cant catch a cold in the dead of winter!

I think he will be just fine once he gains a little more confidence.

Croom is gooey soft for his size and anyone with eyeballs can see that. He should be dominating DBs with his size and athletic ability but just doesn't seem to know how to flip the switch. I'm sure he's a good guy and all vol, but that's just me honest critique of his play.

As of now, if the game were on the line, Croom would be one of the last options I would want the ball thrown to. Maybe he develops into a gameday guy, but my confidence in him is low at this point.

Agree. He has to step up make plays. I keep believing he will produce...

I Believe in Jason. He's a very good athlete. IMO, his problem is between his ears. Not a cut at Jason, but rather attitude. Every time he walks on the football field, he should tell himself that the ball is his and his alone, and go get it with fire in his eyes and soul. Not sure if Jason has lost his confidence or not, but he's too good to give up on him.

I believe that he will develop into a good receiver, but it may not happen this year. Everyone develops at different speeds.

I believe he will gain more confidence by sticking with him. He had a bad game. No one talks about him having the only touchdown catch against Oregon or the catch against kentucky.

Like coach says "Snap and clear." We can't put the OK lost strictly on Croom.

Coaches always say they "believe in him" until they don't. No reason for them to pile on right now, but you can bet they are concerned. He has gained a reputation for being soft and he will have to perform to change that. If his game doesn't improve then he will see less reps while he works to improve. It's happened to lots of players, they either show progress or they play less

Add 20 lbs and he is the perfect TE

as Wolf. Why Croom wasn't made a TE last year when we were desperate for TE help astounds me. And we were desperate for TE help last week with Wolf injured, and it's not like Wolf is a star, he's a true freshman. On top of this, WR is our deepest position! I'm sure the coaches have their reasons, but I couldn't understand this omission last year and still don't understand it.

Jason has as much physical ability as anyone on our team. His problem is not between his ears but it is his heart! He just does not want to be great bad enough. I have no doubt that he has enough ability to play in the NFL but heart or desire is his problem. I do not see many who lack desire to be great who overcome this problem. But some do and I hope he is one of them.
But at this time, I see nothing about his play that makes me think he will change.

Just catch the game winner against the Dawgs and all is forgiven!! VN is a fickle bunch:)

I think we should wait until the end of the year to see Croom's game as a whole instead of what little we have seen of him. Hope the kid comes back hard for us next week.
