Who all believes in Croom?

I don't see any of you defending Devrin, McNeil, Coleman or Darr.

It seems as though we still have some posters who want a date with "Croomster's" mother.

People on this board are obsessed with Croom. I don't get it. Probably because his mom posts on here

That's exactly why. Why else would we be obsessed with an underperforming third year player who has never put two consecutive good games together in his career? Look it up.

Malone, Pig, North and JJ will see more playing time vs GA then this kid.

Croomster has the size, speed, and ability to grow into a TE/WR type like this beast....

It is the mental part of the game he needs to develop....or the light bulb to click on so to speak.

Safety on WR is not a good idea.

As a WR you have ONE JOB. That is is catch the football. Yeah, I get it, Smith sucked at it last season. But he was a true freshman playing with a broken bone in his hand.

Croom is a third year player who gets punked by guys who are 5'9" repeatedly. Why else doesn't he play a more involved role in our offense? He's bigger and has been here longer than all of our other receivers.

as Wolf. Why Croom wasn't made a TE last year when we were desperate for TE help astounds me. And we were desperate for TE help last week with Wolf injured, and it's not like Wolf is a star, he's a true freshman. On top of this, WR is our deepest position! I'm sure the coaches have their reasons, but I couldn't understand this omission last year and still don't understand it.

You serious?

You don't just "make him a TE."

Hasn't this thread already been done and deleted? Put it in the graveyard and let's move on.

The young man should be a beast, he has 5 to 7 inches on most dB's but so can't take advantage but I believe even though I am a Moseley man.

Croom will make a game changing play that we'll be talking about for a long time before the year is done. Jmo

Wow, your knowledge of a receiver's job is lacking.
He's been at UT for three years, but he's not a third year player.

Really like Croom, seems like he's a great kid, is definitely a physical specimen. Can't believe in him as a WR until he gives me a reason to.

Croom is soft. Until he starts playing physical he will remain a slightly below average wr. If he figures out that he is 6 inches taller and 50 lbs heavier than most people that are trying to defend him and starts using his size, he has the potential to be very good. I hope this happens but I haven't seen anything from him that makes me think it will.

Should I have titled the thread Article in Chattanooga TFP?

I don't care if his mom is on here or not. I pointed out his missed opportunities vs OU in the deleted thread. He's got the size to be a dominate WR and I hope he becomes one. I believe this staff can coach him up and get him there.

I don't believe posters saying things like he "has hands of stone", "would be a good TE", or "has no heart" is very helpful. Hope guys that say things like that aren't parents nor coaches...
