some of Pat's better teams could beat a good high school boys team? I believe they could, but some posters on the basketball forum are arguing with me that there is no way that any of Pat's teams could beat a good high school boys team. One even said that a WNBA team could not beat an average high school boys team.

Depends where you live. Average Atlanta team would DESTROY any women team. But some small average school in the middle of nowhere they could win

They would beat my alma mater's current boys' team...but that team is horrible.

I truly believe my old HS would beat them now. Not taking anything away from them but it is what it is

i'm sorry, if you have a good boys hs bball team then more than likely there will be at least 1-2 future college players on there. that being said the boys will win. they'll be more physical, they can jump higher, and are a lot stronger. also the boys won't be shooting from their hips. i'm sorry true fan, but u have to get off the dope

The LVs have one of the biggest teams in women's BB, but the tallest player is 6'6" Kelley Cain. A good HS boys' team will probably have a couple of players taller than that who are likely more athletic.

The guard play is the key. The boys are just so much quicker. My alma mater, Bearden, would destroy the Lady Vols. I played with some of the Lady Vols players several times in college at the HPER, and a good boys basketball team would definitely beat the Lady Vols.

A mens team would win hands down. The LVs brains are only 1/3 the size of the mens team theyd be playing. Its science.

Teams like Centennial, Milton, Wheeler, Norcross, and McEachern would destroy any womens team.

3 years ago norcross had 5 division 1 players on there team, including the 6'10" brothers that play for GT and wake forrest. if you go acouple years back they had jody meeks.

Well, he has 4 inches on her, so that really isn't saying much.

So. They play the same spot and he does so very poorly. She is the best woman to play. He is behind a walk on.

Says something to me that he would kill her at any phase of the game. She might compete at the FT line, but the small ball makes that a travesty.

You misunderstood. Swiper would beat her like a rented goalie.

Maybe in a game of 1 on 1, but if they were to be plugged into an offense one after the other, I think she would do no worse than Woolridge. She's smaller, slower, and less athletic, but she's smarter, more aggressive, and can shoot better.

She could not play the post against men. She has to play the post, otherwise, she sucks. She would have had no prayer to start on my HS team.
