Who do we close with?

Beal, Corbin, hopefully Walker, no clue who else. Someone at corner

i'm still trying to figure where Beal fits given all the TEs we have.

but, he's a good prospect, great size. maybe just a best available type deal.

as for Corbin and Walker, yeah, that'd be good, though i'm not sold corbin is coming. think he's an aTm lean, but we're not letting him go w/out a fight.

i still think Copeland and Griffin are in play. and i have no idea what to think about ITS. curious to see if there's anything that comes out of his visit.

Otito O is one that i want though.

if i could arrange it...of the uncommitted players left...

Griffin
Walker
OO
Corbin
Wonnum
Copeland
Beal

and if ITS or Cambell wanted in, i'd find a way.

of all those, if we could get OO, Griffin, Walker and Copeland, i may not care who else signed.:)

It wouldn’t surprise me if they move Bumphus to defense. If so, we don’t have another sec ready TE outside of Anderson imo. The other guys are too small

Do you think we are going to get any commits before NSD or whoever we get all sign on NSD?

we've had 3...Jordan Young, JJ Peterson and Brandon Davis.

i don't know that we'll see any other commits until NSD at this point. at least i'm not aware of anyone with plans to.

Walker, ITS, Ogbonnia, and either a surprise with Smith, Copeland, Campbell, or someone else we don't see coming... only because I don't think folks really know where we are with kids this cycle because of the new coaching staff and the media is not getting info... trying to be positive.

New staff probably doesn’t like our TEs. I wouldnt be surprised if one or two get processed.

I see us missing out on Campbell, Griffin, and ITS. Jordan Young goes on to FSU.

However, we do end up with some surprises and sign the following next week:

O. Ogbonnia
Q.Walker
J. Copeland
T. Palmer
J. Petersen
B. Davis
J. Mincey
J. Corbin

I think we just miss out on Beal to A&M.

isn't walker and quay the same guy? or am i missing another walker?:eek:lol:

i think at this point, Langham, Miller and Stuart seem like long shots.

i'd think we have to go all in on Walker and Griffin. i think those two are as close to "must haves" as you can get.

so...
Walker
Griffin
Winkel
Young
Mincey
Grant
Smith
Flemister? of course if you can land any of the 3 above, you get them.
I watched Luke Kuechly (Carolina Panthers LB) since he was a LB at Boston College, IMO that is the type of LB the Vols defense really needs to make a 3-4 work. Is Walker that guy?
