The way I read this quote, I assumed that you were saying that we were on the same level with VT and that Michigan was miles ahead of our program. I've watched football since the early 70s. Although I respect Michigans program and legacy, I respect ours just as much if not more so. We played each other when we both were playing at a high level and we all know how that turned out. I'll only be willing to admit it's a lateral move, but the other factors tilt it in our favor as of today,IMO. Economics of the state, Big Ten losing prominence, Sec dominance, and our current and future recruiting classes lead me to my conclusions. I think our stock is a buy and Michigans stock is a sell. Only time will tell.

People wonder why Michigan would hire Jones based on what he's done here. Well this season isn't over and they aren't hiring a coach before the end of the season - so if Butch is able to take them team to a bowl and get a victory. I wouldn't be surprised to hear his name mentioned more. Although I can't imagine he would be a leading candidate by any means

I keep saying someone will snatch up Ruffin McNeill.

He'll move to a power conference after this season. Whether that's Michigan or Florida, I won't place any bets.

This year OHSt isn't on the same level as VT and watch them blow the doors off MI.

MI could lure in Saban and In 2-3 years the best they could hope for is being in contention for the Big 10 title game.

OSU would beat the brakes off VT today. That was by far the worst game they played and VT is slipping bad. Hell they already fell off the cliff no slipping left. That loss is looking worse and worse for OSU.

Harbaugh won't be with the 49ers next year. Whether he goes to another NFL team or UM remains to be seen. I certainly won't be the least bit surprised if he chooses to go back and coach at his alma mater. They've already completed step 1 of bringing him home by getting rid of their AD.

No. Jim Harbaugh and Les Miles. Those are the only two the school want and they are going to throw everything at them to get one of them there.

A lot of Virginia Tech fans are praying that Georgia does bad enough that they dump Richt so VT can hire him when they fire Frank Beamer.

When/if Richt gets dumped by UGA, his coaching days are over. He has made it pretty clear there's a lot more that he wants to do with his life besides coach. He might hang it up in the next couple of years anyway.
