Who elected Obama........

Young people and minorities elected Obama. And this is news?

Evangelicals and rural folk elected Bush.

Both appelealed to their base.

Obama won the moderate vote this time around because he isn't George Bush, and that was the difference maker.

That is the election in a nutshell.

Not gonna say that this article is a steaming pile of crap, but this article is a steaming pile of turd.

Another butt-hurt Conservative whining about losing the election.

If you hadn't had elected a half-wit for two consecutive terms, perhaps McCain would have had a fighting chance.

There was no better alternative....

And it got worse with Obama and McCain, possibly beating out Dewey and Truman.

Who elected Obama?

Americans. The majority. Get over it. There is no one group or demographic that did. He has wide reachin support from all types of people.

"Wide reach in" rings a bell.

This is old news. The demographics of the vote have been published by many news outlets. Can't argue with the numbers, but interpretation is totally subjective as to why any one group might have voted for/against Obama. I also notice the article conveniently left out the statistic of white voters with college degrees and above. A large majority of that group voted for Obama.

You guys don't forget now, Mickey Mouse voted for Obama in at least four states.

The article did mention those with college degrees and post graduate work, you must be a victim of a modern college education.

One demographic left out though was that 101% of dead voters supported Obama.

What fear were they trying to monger? We should all be afraid if Repubs get elected because we will revert back to segregation and courtyard lynchings? Who is really going to believe that?

On the other hand, who is going to believe we will get attacked when the government tells us terror color level is currently at orange, be diligent, stock up on plastic sheets duct tape, and make sure your radios have batteries in them?

One fear monger is completely silly. The other, well how do we know if it is silly or not, the intel supporting it is supposedly classified.

this is where I'm disagreeing with you. Both are overblown fear tactics but the point is that they are used and you see partisans from both sides parroting them back as fact.

Seriously, read some of the "left" sites. The descriptions of what Bush and Republicans did/do/want to do is completely fear based. It's simply fear of different things.

Both play on the psyche of their intended audiences and both strike a nerve as demonstrated by the statements of the audiences. Seriously, look at the extreme criticisms of the Bush administration and see how often Nazism, fascism, etc. are mentioned. Clearly these are silly claims but they have been promoted and adopted by Democratic opinion leaders. Fear, Fear, Fear.

Perhaps if McCain were other than a RINO he might have received more support.

I know of one man who had voted republican in every election in which he had previously voted but voted for Obama to show his dissatisfaction with the republican nominee.

If Bush was a halfwit then Gore and Kerry were zero wits.

This "Mickey Mouse", as you see it, tried to get on the list of registered voters in those 4 states. That does not mean he voted. You can be on the list of registered voters, but never vote, ever.

If you don't know that there were millions and millions of fraudulent votes in this past election, then you are sort of Mickey Mouse yourself.

Millions? Millions is grossly overestimating by a large reach. Maybe a couple thousand, surely, but they go both ways, so it balances itself out.

I will. You just come off as sour grapes because ya boy didn't win.

Evidently you don't have the first clue as to what is happening.

First off I am not in any way a supporter of John McCain.

If you don't think there was widespread voting fraud in the last election involving millions of votes, then you have your head stuck somewhere the sun doesn't shine.

The services of Sherlock Holmes were not required in uncovering the fraud. In Nevada, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and the entire first team of the Dallas Cowboys were registered.

Doubt it. People raised hell before the elections about that, from everywhere in the media.

Most of the people who turned in the phony rolls to the election commission were out there to make money from ACORN, because they pay people to get registrations from homeless people/low-income, etc.

Was there voter fraud in this election? Sure. Is it as widespread and rampant as you claim? No, not in the least. A couple thousand, sure. The election was decided by a margin of 8 million votes.

Voter fraud is and has been enough of a problem to be significant and needs to be addressed, I know of no place it is even being discussed.

You say a few thousand votes nation wide???

I say a few to several thousand votes in every major city, that adds up.

The margin may have been 8 million but who did the Republicans have??? Kerry lite.

By ethnic group, his support comprised 41 percent of Whites, 61 percent of Asians, 75 percent of Latinos and 95 percent of Blacks.

I will continue to say this. If 95% of white people voted for McCain the blacks would scream racism and riot in the streets. Ridiculous.
