No offense, but how can you compare him to Kevin Simon if he hasn't played a down? Simon was good.

I am hoping it is a defensive lineman, especially an end getting to the opposing QB. This team does not have the explosiveness we had on offense but maybe it can be more consistent. I will say J. Smith.

With new conditioning program and 4-3, McCullers could be a monster for opposing offenses. I also hope less players get hurt due to better conditioning.

They are gonna be phenomenal, and the defense will be much improved over last year. PIG HOWARD and one of these great QBs are gonna shine!!!

You could say he has already emerged, but I believe in Curt Maggitt will become an All American in 2013.

I'll take a second shot at this and say Trae Bowles. Heard from a buddy who saw him up close in Jackson that he's a freak athlete. Also, it says a lot to me that he was selected first off the board for the Volympics. Think this says a ton about what his peers see and think of him regarding his athletic ability and work ethic.

The 4-3 defense returns. I believe we will see definite improvement since we have 4-3 personel and will be healthy.

imo I don't know why no one is talking about Jabo Lee. The kid is a burner and looked like he could take a pretty good lick.Yes i know he had a knee injury,and yes i know that doesn't help his cause. However, with modern medicine being what it is, I don't see how this guy can't turn into a huge star for us in the long run. Just hope he has/keeps a good head on his shoulders.

I'm pretty excited about him. Although I would be surprised if he contributes a whole lot at running back this year barring injury. We've got two horses that Butch is gonna ride all year. Rajion and Marlin have got this.

Yeah im in agreement with you there. Really hope Lane finally has his breakout year. The guy deserves it. He's the type of back I could see with about 1500 at the end of the year. As for Lee, I could see him getting in on the special teams this year, but with that injury there's no need to try and rush him.

I wouldn't call one ACL an injury bug. We really need this guy to use his talent, so let's hope he is ready.

I would not be surprised if Maggitt redshirted this year. Do we need him? Yes, but he played last year with a bad turf toe and then injured an ACL. He might come back from two serious injuries in eight months, but he might need twelve.

It's my belief we have a third back who is a bull rusher if given the chance. So I hope CBJ & co. don't neglect Tom Smith.
