Assuming the rumors are true (and who knows at this point), Strong and Gundy are out.

Fedora is probably up next. Who would be our next choices?

Dennis Allen and Bobby Petrino.

Probably Butch Jones too, since alot of the jobs are beginning to get filled up.

If the rumors are correct and we have been turned down by 1-Gruden, 2-Strong, and 3-Gundy, I hate to say it, but I'm getting on the Jim Tressel bandwagon.

I'd imagine Butch Jones, but as I've mentioned before, I think it's time to start considering coordinators at that point.

you should know by now that rumors are just that, rumors.

Sit back, relax and know Hart will get a good coach or be fired.

It seems to me, we would need to go after the misfits (tressell or petrino), someone like Hugh Freeze with limited experience, but has done well with the jobs he has, or go after a coordinator.

I always thought Patterson and Petersen were pipe dreams -- but high up on my list of coaches I would like to see in orange.

No way Hart let Dooley go after the Vandy game without knowing who will be the next coach...no way. This is all due process and must run it's course. Getting shot down by Strong, Gundy, etc... 3 weeks after the fact makes no sense and would make Hart the most inept AD in history.

Excellent point. I can't believe I've gotten this emotionally attached to this coaching search this year - time to step back, make some tea, and wait for an announcement in the next 2/4/8/24/168 hours.

The only name that makes sense now is Davis. Good coach and actually wants the job.

word on the street was Strong would sign immediately after we offered. At this point, it doesn't seem to be the case. I don't take any coaches for granted at this point.
