Just in. Big bird is available and would bring both Bert and Ernie as OC and DC. Hart has interviewed and told them that they could have staff members as long as Elmo stays in San Francisco. That's how far down we'll get before they get a search committee to put Hart out of his misery.

Regardless, big fan of Noel. He is spearheading a bit of an offensive revolution in one-back circles. Personally, the offensive coordinator of the 2000 and 2001 Jaguars seems like the choice.

Jack Del Rio had some bad years at Jacksonville, but he also had a few really good ones. On that score, he's better than Saban. I think his big problem was just an abysmal QB situation. Jax still doesn't have that sorted out.

He could be a good one at the collegiate level, and with him being Denver's current DC, that is certainly something we need. I'd give him and Raheem Morris a call. Morris actually was looking very promising as a young HC his first season, then it went south on him last year. Not sure what the root of the problem was, but he could be worth a 2nd chance as a college HC.

Both are defensive minded HC's, and if they could hire a proven OC, then they'd stand a decent chance of winning sooner, rather than later. Should be able to recruit very well. Morris has a Superbowl Ring, so that could go a long way.

Offense doesnt seem to be an issue. I agree we need a defensive minded HC. I would honestly throw some money at chavis. Maybe try to weigh on his love for this school, and possibly consider giving him big phil as his AD. Cheap and homegrown. That sounds like bad mary-jane tho.

No way Hart let Dooley go after the Vandy game without knowing who will be the next coach...no way. This is all due process and must run it's course. Getting shot down by Strong, Gundy, etc... 3 weeks after the fact makes no sense and would make Hart the most inept AD in history.
