And when can we get them fired? If rumors are true about Strong and Fisher, being top candidates.

So, who would you hire?

Gundy, Art Briles, Butch Jones, Larry Fedora, Sonny Dykes, Chris Petersen (#1 choice), Gary Patterson, Willie Taggart, David Shaw. Any of these would be better choices.

The fact that you just put Art Briles, Butch Jones, Sonny Dykes, & Willie Taggart ahead of Fisher & Strong tells us all enough about you. Please, stop exercising your first amendment.

The fact that they are even interviewed pisses me off.

With your curmudgeonly attitude, something tells me most things in life piss you off.

Enjoy living in the fantasy world where guys like Gruden and Saban are just easy hires.

Fisher isn't going to win any kind of championship here. The guy loses at least one game every year to a less talented team. You can't do that in the SEC.

I can't say Strong wouldn't make us competitive, but it's doubtful he's championship material.

Honestly, if those are our top two candidates and we are interviewing them without even making a a serious push for Petersen or Patterson (and especially if Hart turned down Gruden, which many are saying), then Hart needs to be fired now.

Did you read my list? Do you think it would be hard to hire any of those guys? FYI, I don't want Guden or Saban.

100% agree.

Gundy, Patterson, Petersen, and Shaw aren't coming. Might as well mark them off the list.

Seriously, Sonny Dykes, Fedora, Briles and Taggart are better choices than Fisher and Strong??? And what info is this being based off of??
Strongs resume is dang near a mirror image of fedora's and the rest have had losing seasons, something Strong has yet to do as a HC.
This can't be a serious list of someone trying to call for Harts job because he is going after Fisher and Strong. Fisher and Strong are far better than all those I named from your list. Maybe if you had left those off and only named the ones I didn't I could take you serious but you came out with those names, guns a blazing.

you are an idiot. I want UT to win championships, and I am a casual fan? I wish we were having this conversation, face to face.

Why? So you could fight him? Real mature. Of course, that maturity level explains wanting to fire Hart before he even makes a hire.

Pretty sure Saban and Bama just lost a game this year to a less talented team, and i'm pretty sure they are in the SEC and playing for a national title.

I base my opinion off of what aTm did to bama. I would have never thought the big12 type of pass happy offense could do this well in SEC, but they can and will. I know they have Johnny football, but they will be winning long after Johnny football leaves. Football is evolving, UT needs to get on board. Look up college football stats, La Tech had the #4 passing and surprisingly the #17 rushing offense. They are ranked higher at rushing the ball then bama. Time to wake up people. Get one of these guys and hire a superstar DC.

Can we get the text verification boxes to stop these dumb drunk threads from being created? Wanting to fire a guy before he is given a chance to make a hire is one of the dumbest things I have heard in a while

Now, now...we can't let pesky facts get in the way of an angst-filled rant.

Fair enough. And if Fisher suddenly starts out-recruiting Saban, then it won't be a problem.
