Sorry, I'll leave this thread so the guy can continue his belief that aTm was pass happy and thats why they beat Bama. If I stay I would have to point out another fact about the run/pass ratio in that game that would prove him wrong in his theory of Pass Happy offenses being the next big thing and what its gonna take to win the SEC. Guess he'll have to learn all on his own that aTm adapted an SEC style offense in that game to beat another SEC team.

If Fisher or Strong are hired we will never win a NC or and SEC championship. If one of those is hired, I hope that I will be eating crow. I just don't see that happening.

aTm does not have an SEC type offense. It is not a pro style or a one back. It is an air raid style. Nobody says you can't run from an air raid style offense. Air raid offenses are generally pass happy. It worked against a good bama team. I would love to see it at UT.

Wait, who the hell are you arguing with here? Who said anything about a pass-happy anything? Are you hearing voices in your head or something?

Yeah, Nick Saban lost to a less talented team. Guess what? Nick Saban out-recruits everybody, so anytime he loses, it's to a less talented team. Unfortunately, Fisher (another of his former assistants, yay!) doesn't recruit as well as Saban. So, he's losing more frequently to 6-7, 7-5 teams, whereas Saban is occasionally losing to the 10-2. Completely different. Fisher loses to those 10-2 type teams too.

Read the post above yours genius, geez people are looking for any little thing to nit-pick at to be able to call someone a name or find another way to insult them.

And this is why I'm done on these coaching search threads. one person finds one other person that has a similar idea and they start running around creating tons of new threads and then start calling everyone that don;t agree with them stupid or say they don;t want to win.
We're all fans and we all want to win, and just because my opinion on making that happen don't line up with yours doesnt make me any less intelligent, or in this case, sane than you.

This will be an important hire, the program has been bad the last few years. A wrong hire now, may end up killing the program for a while.

Only with UT football. If he hires Strong or fisher, I say go ahead and fire him. If not you will just be firing him after he makes the next crappy hire.

Sorry to point this out and it may have been covered. Chris Petersen is not leaving Boise State and if you dont know why then you shouldnt even be posting. The fact that you have him in your list and a few of the others points out your limited knowledge of the situation.

Maybe you shouldn't be posting. Why shouldn't a team looking for a coach, try to get the best coach available? From what I hear, he may go to Arky. So enlighten me? Why would Chris Petersen never leave Boise St.? Are you talking about his son's heath issues? There are good doctors everywhere, not just in Idaho.
