Who is the 6th win?

Maybe I'm crazy but Bama looks just as beatable as UGA and we get them at home. Both games are unlikely as a win at this point but we do have a little more advantage in that game IMHO.

I hope I am wrong but I get the feeling we may not get 5. KY is looking like a toss-up right now.

If we lose to personal lubricant, Volnation will be signing e-petitions with one hand and lighting mattresses with the other.

Kentucky may be better than in the past, but they have less depth than we do. Let's see who's still standing on two good legs by game 12 before any predictions are made.

You are absolutely right. Hope we have established a high octane O and D personality going into that game.

Bottom line is if think we can do 7, and you think we will beat someone we shouldn't. Then you think we can go 8.

I think we should beat SC, but being at their place and they have the revenge factor makes me nervous. I think the 2 "M"s give us our best shot. Mizzou is at home. Miss will be in the midst of a brutal stretch....Bama, A&M, us, LSU. Think we sneak up on them there.

I do not care who it is as long as we get #6. Would prefer it to be Florida since I loathe them more than any other SEC school but do not think this will be the year. I sort of did until I saw our line play vs ASU. Mizzou at home might be our only legitimate shot.

I don't know who the sixth win will be. What I do know is Tennessee is putting a better product on the field than they have in several years. GO VOLS.

Either of Alabama's quarterbacks are better than Georgia's. If Coker wins the job and gets in the flow nobody will beat Alabama. I hate Alabama but the truth is the truth.

Watching SC play EC told me everything I needed to know about who our 6th win will be.

Who is the 6th win to take us bowling?

Utah State
Arkansas State

Chattanooga
Kentucky
Vanderbilt

Is it Florida, Missouri, Georgia, South Carolina, or any other?

The chance we beat all 3 of Chatt, UK, and Vandy is only 50% based on ESPN FPI. On the other hand, they have us a favored against Mizzou at home.

1 in 8 chance we win this weekend - sounds about right.

Tennessee 2014 FPI - Volunteers - ESPN

It's too early to tell yet. Based on Saturday's game it may come sooner, later, or not at all. I want to see how we play against elite competition first.

I thinking that Butch won't let the team stop after six wins.

Saturday's games will give us a great idea of which teams are legitimate. First of all, if we are competitive and take the game into the 4th quarter against OU, then I think we have a great shot at pulling out a few Ws against the likes of Florida, Ole Miss, USCe, etc. If we get absolutely blown away (ie Oregon 2013), then I believe it will be difficult to find a win against a sixth opponent. Saturday will tell us a lot about GA and USCe. How that game unfolds and whether or not any injuries occur will be huge. GA becomes a very average team without Gurley, so it's important for them that he stays healthy. If USCe hangs in the game and it's low scoring, then I believe we have a chance against both of those teams. Finally, Florida vs Kentucky will be an interesting game to watch. I think Florida is very athletic and talented, but not very well coached. I think Kentucky is very well coached and getting more athletic each year. It'll be interesting to see whether or not UF can blow them out.

Florida=Possible
Missouri=Win
UGA=Loss
USCe=Win, mainly because their D is so bad

May be changing my pre-season W/L prediction because I've seen some of these teams play, example is USCe. Had them as a loss, then watched them..and u know the rest.

There is not likely to be one, but if we do get it, it will probably come against South Carolina. USC's defense is awful this year. We also might have a small chance against Mizzou. You can flat out forget about beating FL or UGA this year. Both of those teams will maul us on the line of scrimmage.
Correct. Anyone with a slightly more than average DL will beat us. Our OL is in shambles.
