The first prez during my lifetime was Eisenhower. Up until 2000 the worst IMO were Johnson barely nudging out Carter. Now Bush is in a commanding lead :eek:hmy:

I never said he gave us a great economy. I know it is cyclical. Personal debt isn't cyclical. There are more people in debt now, more than ever.

well the prez. doesn't make them spend every dime they make. America's spending is out of control, so many people spend so much on credit cards. They don't have a brain

On a side note, I was listening to Mark Levin last night on my way home from work and this wack job called in saying since the people of this country are in debt that the government should take all of our money and spend it wisely for us.

If that is not the scariest thing you have ever heard..........

I have the right to be in debt, don't I?
