Who is your favorite basketball Vol of all time

I'm close to 30 and for me its Chris Lofton. Not only was he an awesome basketball player, but the way he handled, went through, and came back from cancer was amazing.

I spoke with Chris a couple times and he also seems like a very good person also. I am also a big Ron Slay fan, dude could ball and is hilarious!

I applaud you posting that pic.

Just thought I'd throw in something from the distaff side.
Too many great Vol male players to narrow it down to a single favorite. Besides that, Candace is easy on the eyes.

Bernard King. It's not really even close. Best pure basketball player to ever wear orange. You know, there is a reason his number hangs in the rafters...

"Best" is not the same thing as "favorite." Otherwise there's no discussion.

Allan Houston isn't among my 20 favorite players, for example. But he's right up there among the best.

Ya know, I can't say why but I think my favorite may be Lang Wiseman. He was playing when I first started to get into the Basketvols, and I have fond memories. I was partial to Rashard Lee, as well. Strange, the names I come up with...

Maymon is moving up the ladder fast for me, love the way he plays. I might get cussed for this but Houston is one of my least favorite. Of course I preferred watching Tee Martin over Manning so what do I know. Lol

Chris Lofton

Although Tobias was climbing the list and if he'd have stayed may have surpassed Lofton. Stokes has the same chance in my book.

As far as the ladies go...Ms. Jackson has to take the cake, Candice a close second, and Taber ain't too shabby either.

All 3 together and I'd be one happy guy.

I can't name one without the other.

The Ernie and Bernie Show.

Ernie Grunfield and Benard King are by far my favorite.

Bernard King is the best basketball player ever to wear Tennessee Orange.

At least some one knows some history about Tennessee basketball. Alan Houston is a close second.
