Mine has to be Ole Miss. They get a great QB in Schaeffer (they need to hire somebody just to walk around with him to make sure he doesn't get in trouble). They also get a guy named BenJarves Green-Ellis who is a transfer from Ind. and he will probably start at RB and be close to a 1,000 yard back. They have some young WR but they are very very talented. And of course on D. they have Patrick Willis who will be an All American this year. I think they win atleast 6 games and knock off a big team, my guess is Alabama, and go to a bowl game.

Tennessee. We are winning a national championship this year.

Tennessee will be much better than many pick. But I think Arky could be very, very good. They could very well wind up 2nd in the west and if things go right who knows.

Would it be a surprise if the Vols went out and won 9 or 10 games? If so, I think they can do that and I guess that'd qualify as the big surprise.

I'll be different and say Penn State.

Purdue - 8+ wins
Texas A&M - 8+ wins
Arizona - 8+ wins
Lousville - 11 wins
Pitt - 8+ wins
Navy - 10+ wins

I'll say Navy although I'm an old airman. The midshipmen are going to break the streak.

Second will be Notre Dame, call me crazy, but I don't think they are as good as the experts say. 7 of their 9 wins came against opponents with losing records, and another was against Navy. Their bowl game against Ohio St. wasn't very encouraging either. So the surprise is they won't finish in top 10.

I pick Arky. But, I am picking them so be the surprise team by not being the surprise team that everyone thinks they are going to be. Make sense. They are going to be a surprise by not winning a lot of games.

Louisville undefeated season and national championship appearance.

Given Louisville's perennial run as winners, they're hardly a surprise team. That's a compliment, by the way.

Kentucky will pull out 7 and a bowl bid. I think that qualifies as a surprise team.

Alabama. I think its about time the West became a tossup every year. I don't buy Auburn doing as well as predicted, so I might as well say their rival.

However, I still say the Vols will beat them (if not once, twice!).

We are predicted to finish 4th in the west behind Arky, I think we will have a decent year, but wouldn't be surprised with 9-10 wins. Our record would have to be pretty bad to finish behind Arky this year. Don't believe the hype.

Its in my purest confidence that from my edgeumacation, Alabama will be 1-2 wins behind Arky. Take that for what its worth.
