Who is your surprise team of the year?

Agreed, I think. IMO we will be better. On the other hand, I wear Crimson colored glasses.

I try not to be biased, but from a neutral standpoint it seems Alabama will certainly be, as of now, underdogs to UT, LSU, UF, and Auburn. @ Arkansas, who knows?

Then again, this is why we play the games.

What's the news on Prothro. A 90% Prothro and a 100% DJ Hall would be very formidable, and I think JPW will end up as an ALL SEC QB.

I just hope he is as good next year as we all hope. 07' could be a special year for us. I think he will exceed my expectations this year behind a well improved O-line. Darby, on the other hand, is out for blood this year, watch out.

As opposed to you claiming to know which team is going to be better yourself?

There have been posts and threads where I have said either "But I could be wrong" or "I think ..." or "I was wrong".

Plus, I was giving him a hard time. He's a good bammer (as good as a bammer can be).

In 2007, you'd have these guys with this experience, right?

QB Wilson JR
RB Johns JR
WR Hall SR
WR Brown SR

4 of the projected 2006 OL starters back

Is that the expectation down there?

Indeed. Next year should be the year of all the past washed away. We are just now at 85 schollies. And to boot, 18-19 upper classmen starting.

Honestly, that 2007 projected offensive lineup is pretty solid. Definitely an improvement over 2005's inconsistency. So, Prothro is NEVER playing for Bama again?
