IF Walz gets the job, guaranteed that Pat's 100% graduation rates goes out the window! Killing Pat's legacy...perhaps the legacy she was most proud of....even more!

Unless I'm missing something, I fail to see why that would be in danger.

Throw money at Kim Mulkey until she says yes.

Anyone who worries about money at UT obviously didn't register what was paid to Kiffin, Dooley, and Coach Cliche'.
If money was all it came down to then I doubt Drayton McLane's wife would allow this to happen. The McLane's make the drive on I-35 from Temple to Waco for every Lady Bears game.

Drayton built the football stadiums for Baylor, UMHB and the baseball stadium for Michigan State plus has already made a sizable donation towards Baylor's new basketball arena and practice facilities. I don't see Mama McLane letting Kim walk because of money.

Honestly I don't want a coach that only managed one NC with BY FAR the most dominant women's basketball player of all time.

No, actually, neither Pat’s nor Holly’s 100 percent graduation rate records will change, regardless of what happens. Pat ended her career with an unblemished record for seeing to it that all players who played on her watch graduated, and now so has Holly.

I would love for Walz to be the next Tennessee coach to be willing to take that responsibility on, but whether he does or doesn’t has no bearing on the final historical statistics for either Pat or Holly.

I think you can come up with many possible negatives with any potential coach that does get hired..... none will ever be Pat ...... I think you pick and choose your battles ,and hire the person that is already a proven coach/winner...... We already took a chance on Warlick and have suffered for many years now. Let’s not take another chance on someone that may or may not work out!

I’ll pass on Kim Mulkey. Kind of iffy about Brenda Freese. I really like the idea of Walz, Schaefer, or Hammon.

It's UT. When it comes to hiring coaches, money is ALWAYS an object.

She’s not even the most dominant player in the WNBA right now and she is most definitely not the most dominant player of all time. Heck, Gustafson this season was more dominant than BG ever was in college. And she’s quite literally 6 inches shorter.
