The AD has needed a cleanup and purge for a long time. You don't fix a problem that bad overnight. Deal with it.

Multiple parties responsible for attempted murder:

Fulmer...for buying into the "8 wins is good enough" mentality.

Hammy...for believing it.

Kiffin...for the NCAA trouble and undermining the program in the hours after accepting the USC job.

Dooley...for failure to understand WAC-level defenses generally do not achieve SEC-level results.

Cheek and Hart...for trying to keep one of the killers around for another attempt at finishing the job started years ago when Fulmer first lowered his expectations.

Yep...Mike Hamilton. I hope he has a butt rash right now with an ingrown hair on his nuts.

No disrespect because there are a ton of them, but you described perfectly a sidewalk fan. Big on team in good times, no mojo [ don't watch/don't go to/don't know when we are playing] when times are tough. Don't worry though, you will be back when we get good again, and no one will be able to point you out of a crowd as a sidewalk fan.

Well, don't jump ship. It's cool having international fans...hang in there. This train wreck will get back on track sooner than later...hopefully sooner than later.

Mike Hamilton could not have written a more perfect script to destroy TN football. First he hired Kiffin for year to put the program on probation then he hired Dooley to drive it in the ground for three years.

I'm not sure what killed Tennessee Football, but I am beginning to think the program is indeed CURSED. I also advised my son that I don't beleive in Curses, at least I didn't use too....I finally said to him we're just going through some very bad times I guess

Just landed in Baton Rouge. Relieved to hear Dooley pulled it out. Whew! UT back in contention for BBVA Compass Bowl.
