Who Remembers "Flatten the Curve"?

Gonna be a lot of unemployed governors next election cycle, starting with Michigan.

I think the governors who were proactive about fighting COVID-19 will not be voted out. I believe a certain obese orange man will be ran out of DC, however.

I'm not "blaming" anyone for working hard to reduce the rate of spread of the infection so that our health care system was largely able to handle the initial surge.

I do, on the other hand, blame Trump to some degree for the surge being worse than it needed to be, with all of his minimizing of it early on, his promises it would go away, his false claims that it was under control, etc.

He was being told what was coming and he was told what the economic effect would be. He put his own personal interest in reelection ahead of the health and safety of the American people.

He is not alone to blame. The Chinese get some. The W.H.O. as well.

But it is absolutely crystal clear that Trump tried to dodge a bullet and the country took the hit. For the sake of his enormous yet incredibly fragile ego.
My biggest criticism of Trump when it comes to Corona is that he should have shut down all or next to all international travel. As we probably got more or as many cases from Europe as Italy. What say you? We're on pretty opposite sides of the political spectrum so I'm more interested in your thoughts. I generally like to hear the opinions of the opposition

And here we were told every hospital would be overrun and we would have bed shortages. The nurses were so busy yet they had a lot of time to make stupid tik tok videos
I know you don't get this because you're not very smart, but it's always better to plan for the worst and hope for the best

It was never going to be as bad as the “experts” said. It was a glorified flu, you all like government control and communism, I like freedom

You know why people are freaking out, because they haven't truly lived their lives.

They have glazed through it.

Scared and fearful, of life, and death. Scared of death, because of the regrets of truly not living.

You are promised nothing. You can't predict what will happen 5 minutes from now, let alone week, month, year.

Go sky diving. Go drive 180 MPH on flat surface with no one around. Go free climbing up a face with no gear. Look, and jump. Go push the envelope and really experience life. For the vast majority, this isn't the case. Freaking living zombies most of the population.

Sh**, this site, your stupid phones and your stupid ipads and on and on....people are willfully just wasting their lives away.
Haha I did all that stupid stuff when I was young. I'm not young anymore but you are right. Some people are afraid to live.
