Who should win the Heisman

Ok, I have major beef with Troy Smith. On average, he throws for 200.6 yds per game. That's it! At least last season he was doing the Michael Vick show. Let's face it. He plays on the #1 team so he can have pedestrian stats and still win the heisman. That's crap! Brady Quinn is putting up 286.5 per game through the air. Hist starts are similar to Carson Palmer. Think about it. Giving troy smith the heisman would be like giving it to a RB who averages 70 yds per game, but his team is #1 in the BCS ooooooooooooh big deal!

The problem this year is that there isn't really any clear cut favorites. Troy Smith is made the favorite because he is the QB from the best team and everyone is hyping him up as the next Vince Young. There isn't really any great players this year like we have had the past few years.

Coming into this season, there were three "great" college football players: Brady Quinn, Calvin Johnson, and Troy Smith.

Brady and Calvin have both had poor performances which cost their team a critical 'W.' Smith has been consistently good.

Also, do not knock Smith's 200 ypg. Tosu has won all but 2 games by 21 or more points (and one by 17.) Therefore, Tosu is not having to throw the ball a lot in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

The award is Troy's to lose.

But if McFadden has 100 yard games vs. Tennessee and LSU, he will get invited to the show. Next year he will start out as a contender.
