Who starts tomorrow vs the Aces?

Hell NO to Kirby! Maybe if we are up by 10+ runs. They have seen Kirby enough now and have his number imo. The started barreling everything in his last inning yesterday. I wanna see Combs do his thing tomorrow. He seems to be the most fired up and ready to get this bad boy to Omaha.

Pitch Counts:

Deverman - 98 last weekend, 89 this weekend
Schultz - 114 last weekend, 48 this weekend
Harris - 109 last weekend, 68 this weekend
Reed - 60 last weekend, 0 this weekend
Meyer - 38 last weekend, 70 this weekend
Fieger - 38 last weekend, 0 this weekend
Smith - 88 last weekend, 52 this weekend
Hansmann - 68 last weekend, 24 this weekend

Meyer and Harris are first and third respectively in number of appearances. Harris is pretty much their best pitcher as far as ERA goes, so we'll see him tomorrow I'm sure. Reed has third most starts, but his ERA is like 5th worst on their team. Reed started the game against ECU in which the Pirates put up 19 runs. Harris had the most pitches that game too.

Deverman is their ace, and he's likely done. Schultz is their number two, and his ERA is 5.84, and we were all over him today.

People discredit our bullpen, but I think we have better arms left by far. It could be a football score, but we have the advantage I think.
We had 11 LOB. Numerous times to put them away.

Interesting. I thought Russell was shut down, did I miss something?

I did not intend that for you Techno…my bad.
All of us who have "watched the team" this year know there are two pitchers named AJ. One who started the year and came back briefly and another who has pitched all year. Your "AJ who" question was legitimate since we've seen some people asking today if Russell is available.

It’s been fast and furious up in here since the end of the game. I misquoted the wrong guy, I feel bad about it, I apologize.

Harris out of the Aces pen has really slowed down our aggressive approach at the plate. His slider has kept us anxious as hell at the plate. We will see him tomorrow I’m sure. Hopefully we make an adjustment, we’ve seen him twice already. I will admit the plate umpires have helped him tremendously

This is the key in my opinion. We just need to try and get the runs across the plate as opposed to trying to Crush a dong at every bat. At times this has been good, but many times it leads to a pop out in foul ground, or a harmless ground out or swinging at pitches out of the strike zone.
