Who starts tomorrow vs the Aces?

How depleted is their staff? Anyone got details on that?
Not sure it matters. They didn't really trot out a bunch of stellar ERA's yesterday but we made 'em look like MLB draft candidates. Regardless of the reason, the effort yesterday just wasn't there. They didn't show up ready to play and Evansville popped us. UT didn't take care of business and brought a boat load of unnecessary pressure upon themselves. Now they get to deal with it. Can they?

Causey is not coming back after 82 pitches on Friday other than the very unlikely scenario we need one out in a high leverage situation. Even then I don’t see CTV and Frank doing that. This isn’t a video game.
Agreed. I think we'll roll with Zander, Combs and Loy. I'd also bet Kirby will give us an inning somewhere despite the work load he's taken on. Man, I wish we had more guys on this roster with his attitude and drive.

Harris out of the Aces pen has really slowed down our aggressive approach at the plate. His slider has kept us anxious as hell at the plate. We will see him tomorrow I’m sure. Hopefully we make an adjustment, we’ve seen him twice already. I will admit the plate umpires have helped him tremendously
You would think they'd not push him like that, but with what's on the line, I don't think you could keep Harris off the field. Not sure how much he can give them, but I'd bet he'll drain the tank of what's left for a chance to go to Omaha. There's blood in the water and this Aces team can taste it now.

Marcus Phillips? Yes he’s available…and every other arm except probably Beam. For one or two spot up duty. Zander will clearly start the game and I’d be surprised if he isn’t sharp.
Please no Phillips. He has been rocked way to many times

I think it absolutely matters who they pitch. Sample would be their aces haven’t had great games just yet but hard to keep good pitchers down. I think if we jump on them again, we don’t let up like yesterday. One of their pitchers has a good start and they believe, we could have trouble.

I was just saying Marcus is available. But his biggest problem has been hitting the zone consistently. I think once he develops consistency and maybe a third pitch he'll be a gamer.

He’s just inexperienced with less baseball being played in the Dakotas plus taking a redshirt in JUCO. He will be excellent with more experience and tutelage form CFA.

Whoever we pitch, we need to limit their run total this game to 4 max. We're due for a low scoring offense. They're going to be pitching some high ERA pitchers today and everyone is expecting a football score, so it's gonna end up being a low scoring pitcher's duel.

Hell NO to Kirby! Maybe if we are up by 10+ runs. They have seen Kirby enough now and have his number imo. The started barreling everything in his last inning yesterday. I wanna see Combs do his thing tomorrow. He seems to be the most fired up and ready to get this bad boy to Omaha.
I thought the Bozo the Clown show was over. This post appears to be trying to resurrect it...jeepers folks.....
