Who gives a rat's arse about the game? The real show is going to be on here, watching the "SEC Pride" brigade and the self-proclaimed "Real Vol Fans" duke it out during the game. It's much more entertaining that listening to ESPN's talking heads, IMHO.

I may dislike ND even more than Bama ... but I believe I need Bama to lose more than I need ND to lose. I know y'all have been on pins and needles waiting for my opinion on that.

I am pulling for the Irish. I hope Bama never wins another game. SEC loyalty doesn't mean much to me. The other SEC teams are our rivals.....only orange loyalty here.

Surely aren't serious? The ND DNs (sweet mirror effect and I'll take credit thank you very much) are nationwide and even international. The inbred idiots are very regionalized and lack the implied heavenly support.

I live and travel in the South. I'll encounter 20 Bammer fans before I'll encounter a ND fan. Advantage ND.

I'd pull for the Taliban before I'd pull for Bammer. Again, anyone but Bammer.

I get out plenty, but Bammer winning a national title hurts UT more than ND winning a title. Anytime you have one of your biggest rivals continue to win titles then it just makes it tougher for your own program to rebuild. Advantage ND yet again.

I believe most of you have it wrong... Notre Dame winning hurts us worse. As long as Saban is at Bama, Bama will sign a Top 5 class each year. What we DON'T need is Notre Dame becoming another recruiting juggernaut, especially now that Urban Meyer is recruiting at Ohio St.

We need Alabama to embarrass Notre Dame. As much as we hate Bama... This long streak of SEC national champions only strengthens the argument to recruits that they belong in the SEC. That argument alone gives us the advantage in recruiting over most schools.

agreed. losing that one game wont mean that much to recruits. in fact that may help them even more.. they could tell this recruit we would have won that game if you were there.

I hate ND just slightly more than Bama so I am rooting for Bama.. although the way they have played against the better SEC teams makes it tough for me to believe they can actually win

I don't think I can cheer for either of them. The thought of the entitled ND fans celebrating nauseates me as much as the Bammer bandwagon necks.
