Who will be Florida's new football coach if Muschamp gets fired after this season?

He's playing you guys. Just like he stated FL would go 3-9 this season. He's knows UT doesn't have a chance.

I'm not worried about that game either.

How do we not have a chance?

We're better than Kentucky, and they took you to triple overtime in the Swamp.

For one... You really can't say TN is better than KY without wearing orange color glasses.

Second of all... Football is about match ups and timing.

So we have to wait another two weeks to see what the injury situation is to detemine the matchups, yes?

A healthy Von Pearson and Josh Smith (in addition to Howard, North and Wolfe) is a bad matchup for our secondary, considering we had trouble covering UK's freshmen receivers.

I do like our advantage on the o-line, and Matt Jones looks like a different runner this year.

I personally can't wait to see the beat down Alabama puts on Florida. I fully expect Muschamp to wig out on the side lines over a call and Foley come to his defense only to be fined $2 million by the SEC for stupidity in hiring Muschamp.

All in all I like how Florida has progressed under the late term Urban Meyer and current loser Will Muschamp. Karma's a beotch.

As if Tennessee has taken advantage of UF being down recently.

As if Alabama will be an underdog to Tennessee when they play.

It's like a classmate whose ass you've kicked personally from 1st grade to 9th grade getting enjoyment by watching the class bully kick your ass....and your classmate eventually has to fight the same bully.

You know as well as I do nothing stays the same in the SEC. Every few years another climbs to the top as another falls.

Spurrier left UF, UGA/LSU got better. Tennessee hasn't won the SEC since.

Meyer left UF, South Carolina got much better, Tennessee hasn't made a bowl game since.

Missouri is improving, as is Texas A&M.

Florida having its issues hasn't helped UT at all recently.

Maybe Butch Jones changes all that, but there's nothing you can point to to say when UF is down, UT takes advantage.

In fact, recent history suggests when UT is good, UF is great and when UF is bad, UT is worse.

I never said that when UF is down UT is better did I?

What I alluded to is that things change. No team stays on top forever and no team stays down forever. Well if you discount Vandy/Ky and the Mississippi's as mostly down teams.

Florida has mostly been a crap team in the SEC for the first 50 years. It wasn't until the ole ball coach came around that you even had a history.

I know that you might think that because of the past 10 years that we're never going to win another championship again, but I think you just might be wrong.

If we cannot block you, nothing else will matter.

The Gators' motivation, if the Bama game goes as advertised, is another factor. Turn the page and focus on the East, or start sliding with a lame-duck coach?

Great question...remains to be seen.

I missed where I suggested UT was "never going to win another championship again".

Even went so far to say Butch Jones might be the guy to turn it around, but that went zipping clear over your head.

I also missed where I brought up UF's rich history, but since you brought it up....forget the 90s, you have to go back to the 50s to find a decade where UT got the better of UF head-to-head.

Speaking of history, unless you're in your late 70s or early 80s, the most dominant stretch of UT football in your lifetime came when they played second fiddle to that school in Gainesville with no history prior to 1990....crazy right?
