Who will be Florida's new football coach if Muschamp gets fired after this season?

Well that's a great answer.

Realistically, what do you think the limit is? $3.5 mil? $5 mil? More?

I doubt you guys are willing to go ludicrous speed into Nick Saban salary territory.

With all the money that the sport generates, I'd think we'd have no problem putting together a compensation package that puts us at the top. What's the difference in a program that generates $100 million a year in paying $6 million versus $5 million?

I got this one...that would be a difference of $1 million.

Lol.

Y'all act like Vols have a winning record vs Chomp.

Tff

Yep. Unless your next coach is Ron Zook terrible or Chip Kelly awesome, I don't give a damn who is in the blue and orange polo, because he's probably going to beat us regardless of his coaching prowess.

Don't give up on Tennessee beating Florida this season. I think Tennessee ends the streak in K-ville.

I've been a firm believer that this year was "the year" since 2009. It's hard for me to keep believing at this point, although I do agree that I think we have a pretty good chance this season.

Makes no sense. How does UF losing to other SEC teams benefit UT?

From my prospective, UF and UGA are sleeping giants, despite their relative success in the past few years (although UGA is a better example).

Both programs are the flagship schools in highly populated southern states that are loaded with talent, and both could and should be on Alabama's level year after year.

Tennessee needs to take advantage of the fact that Richt and Muschamp don't have iron grips over their programs and states the way Saban does, because if both schools began operating the same way, it would be extremely difficult for us (and even South Carolina) to ever be competitive in the East again.

As good as Saban has been at Alabama, I think he could have been even better at UGA or UF. Same with Malzahn at Auburn.

This would be about the least cool thing I could possibly imagine

Really? I dunno, I'd be cool with it. Florida is going to be at least pretty good regardless of who their coach is. But if Spurrier left USCe, they could go back to being the dung heap of the east.

It puts a big smile on the faces of the Vol Nation

It's been a great coping mechanism for you guys.

It'll almost be refreshing when UT can talk smack to UF fans about UT beating UF, instead of UT fans talking smack to UF fans about other schools beating UF.

And it's not like we both ain't taking an ass whuppin from Alabama.
