I will NEVER root against the SEC. Can't do it. I would rather listen to idiot SEC fans than idiot Big 12 or Pac 10 fans....

GO GATORS.

You're right. I have been hiding it all these years.

That is quite an idiotic statement. You root how you want kid. Let the adults handle their business.

I hate alabama....but Florida is just another team to me and I like to thump my chest saying we play in the best conference in the country how many other conferences can say they would have won 3 NC in a row in the BCS era

Personally, I will be rooting for the Sooners. Regardless, the media has determined the Pac 10 is the best conference. Yes, It is BS. They didn't play the caliber of teams the SEC played.

At first, I was upset about Bama getting it handed to them. Then, I started laughing at Saban. It felt good to make fun of Bama for getting it handed to them. I liked seeing Saban pissed off. The millions a year they have spent hasn't produced results for them yet. Let's hope the same doesn't happen to us.

Since, the Bammers got their tails kicked by the Utes. I will be rooting for the Sooners. I believe it could possibly help us in recruiting.

Their are still several high end prospects out there deciding between us, UF, UA, and others. If, the SEC not looking like the strongest conference helps UT get a high end recruit or two. And, I think it may. Besides, I am tired of seeing that darn gator chomp!clapping:

GO SOONERS!!!!!!!

I wouldn't call 12-2 and a BCS Sugar Bowl bid "not results".

Oh yeah, A few recruits are considering South Carolina. Maybe them getting spanked by Iowa will help our recruiting as well. Maybe a few others will change their minds.

If, Giles changes his mind. They can keep him. I would rather have OKU. Giles seems to be ALL ABOUT HIMSELF. We don't need those types anyway.

Eric Berry doesn't have the ALL ABOUT ME attitude. And, he is the best defensive player in the country! Of course, I am biased.

Spurrier poked fun at us once again this year. He said he didn't hear Rocky Top the entire game. He said guessed we only played it when we scored TDs. Well, Spurrier will get very tired of hearing it. If, he doesn't get fired from pretty soon.

I watched the High School Skills Challenge on ESPN last night and Giles looked extremely impressive! I hope he changes his mind and comes to UT now. Oku and Giles would be an awesome combo! Kind of like a Reggie Bush Lendale White combo. And in his interview after winning his particular event, he seemed pretty normal. Not very "cocky" at all about himself, which was rather refreshing. I was expecting him to be all about himself and he wasn't. He said he was just ready to get to USCe and get started working to try and make a run at an SEC Championship. IMO, he still goes to USCe, but the combo of him and Oku would be pretty interesting!

You really don't think Satan and the BAMA staff has produced results? WOW...What is this, their 2nd season down there and they've made a BSC Bowl already?

I'd be tickled to death if Tennessee turns it around that fast.

I dont understand the whole "root for a rival just because they are in your conference" thing. I could care less if any other SEC team wins. I love seeing UF and Bama fans suffer defeat any time that I can. Go Sooners!
My feelings exactly. I would love to see Bradford & co hang 60 on the gators.

I don't care if we play in the best conference or not. And I certainly take no pride in watching a team that I absolutely despise win 2 national championships in 3 years. It makes me want to puke. The only way that I ever pull for a UF win is if it somehow helps the Vols.

My feelings exactly....if I lived in Florida maybe I'd have a different tune.....but for now, I'll root for the Gators to beat zero U.

I will definitely be pulling for the Sooners, regardless of the pathetic case tsooner has made for their ability.

I don't want CUM with any more recruiting advantage than he has today.

It pains me because I hate stoops, but I hate florida more. Although I am from an SEC family (mom UT, dad UGA/UT), I went to A&M.

You really can't blame the Okie fans for drinking maroon kool-aid though. It is their one big sports team.

As a life long real-UT fan, I want to see the gators crushed. On the other hand, I hate Texas cause I am an aggie, so I pull for OU often.

I did love seeing tech take a beating from Ole Miss though. I hate the tortilla tossing techtards; stupid pirates.. there are no pirates in Texas unless you count the butt pirates in austin.

I am not an "SEC Guy". I love to watch sec during the regular season, but if I generally do not pull for your team on the 3rd saturday in september or october, I will not pull for your team on Jan 2 or Jan 8. Go Sooners! GBO!

I hate the Gators ALMOST as much as I do Bama.

However, I will be pulling them in the MNC game. A Gator win only makes the SEC look that much stronger. The stronger the conference, the more it helps us when are back on the winning track. :good!:

Real UT fan meaning the Vols.. I only refer to the shorthorns as t.u.

The 05 game was tough for me. I wanted my ags to win because we have been so bad for so long, but I watched it with my mom and dad and they were both pulling for the Vols. It was one of those games where you just can't be happy either way, so you just watch it and hope for a close game. Too bad it wasn't close =(

The hard part is when I visit knoxville/Pigeon Forge every year and hear the SECSECSEC. I've grown up with a huge family that went to many SEC schools, and they all sound much like this board. They don't believe good football can be played outside the conference.
