I've always liked the Sooners from the days of Barry Switzer with the "Selmon Bro's", Billy Sims, "The Boz" to now. Bob Stoops is a heck of a coach and I like him better than Urban so...ROLL BOOMER SOONER!

I always root for the SEC... except if it is bama or florida. I took great pleasure in watching the UTES put it to bama last night, and will enjoy the Sooners pounding florida.

For all of you that says F the SEC in bowl games needs to get out and realize. All SEC schools get money from winning bowl games. The reason we got the big ESPN deal is because of the way our conference has played the past few years. So whoever wants to say "F the SEC, I want everyone but them to win" needs to wake up and realize. Whether you want to admit it or not, this is correct.

My body would shut down if I EVER pulled for UA or UF. I'm not a fan of OU either. This will just be another one of those games where both teams could lose & I won't be satisfied.

Hard to make a choice. Easy to pull for UF over OSU but I have no reason to dislike OU.

That is incorrect...Teams do not get extra money for winning bowl games, Both teams in the bowl get an equal amount for playing in the game so regardless of who wins they get the set amount.

Sorry, I wasn't really paying attention when I wrote that post. Watching TV.

The way I put it didn't make it sound right.

The way the SEC plays in regular season and bowl games is a major success in getting TV deals etc. By us be such a power conference within the last few years, we have gotten the ESPN deal.

You don't see the MAC conference getting deals with ESPN because there conference hasn't been very good, until this year, they had a few good teams.

So with SEC teams winning bowl games, it helps us out.
