Who would you commit to?

in order...

Miami (weather and I hate UF too much)
Penn State (tradition)
Notre Dame (tradition)
Oklahoma
Texas (Austin is amazing)
UCLA (West Coast, and I hate USC too much)

notice i didnt pick any sec school? well i dont want to play against my vols unless it happened in a bowl game. it would break my heart playing my vols every year.

if i were to choose an SEC school...
Id go with........Auburn or Ole Miss

I am in football and basketball and believe me facilities wise there is not a better school in Va (Maybe UVA) and National Championships (again only/maybe UVA) and with the Beach that is what puts ODU on top.

facilities for football? No way I would put a stadium that holds about 14k over any BCS school.

Peterson may be a "nice guy", but he is a scientologist. Translation = he is a wackjob.

I agree with some of you about LSU, cool place, great stadium. But it seems out there to commit to Les Miles.

Him being a scientologist doesn't bother me. I personally think most Christians are wackjobs as well. Scientologist believe in some galactic confederation and Christians believe Jonah lived inside a fish and seas were parted.

If people want to believe in that stuff that's their choice. As long as they are good people it doesn't bother me what they believe in. There is something out there for everyone.

Depends on how good of a prospect I am. If I were looking big time, it would likely be Texas or Florida. Otherwise, UVA or UNC. Might as well get a top education at a BCS school with a great campus. And unlike Vandy, you are less of a dormat.

1. Texas (stand up program and good in football/basketball)
2. Ole Miss (you know)
3. Vandy (academics)

I hear USC isn't in the nicest part of town

USC is not in Compton, but close. The Lakers played in Inglewood, which is not in Compton, but close. Back to the point. Look at all of "our" fans that would commit eleswhere. Sickening. Any Volunteer's out there???

did you even read the point of this thread?

The catch is that you can't choose the school you root for. SO, which school would you guys commit to, other than Tennessee, and why?

Boise St- the smurf turf calls to me
Oregon- CCK has that program on the up and up
Miami- South Beach and you always have a chance to win the ACC
VT- I don't know why but they just interest me

I grew up watching the Vols and Peyton. But also FSU, and Peter Warrick. Not to mention the weather and women. I"ve alwayts kinda liked them and their uni"s

It holds about 20k but I hear what you are saying. Remember we are still the same team here haha UT and it seems you pull for ODU if you have season tickets.

I would go to Oregon, just to beat USC on many occasions.
(And I think their uniforms are cool.)
