Believe me, I don't like them either. My argument here is strictly about recruiting. I'm not willing to concede that we can't recruit just as good as they can!

That's what I see in posts like the one above, as an example. Well friends....perhaps some of you'ns would be happier if The University of Tennessee resolved your angst by moving into a MUCH weaker conferences..?? Is that how you propose to make the Big Orange a "Big Dawg"..?? We could pound out 60 point wins every Saturday, Never lose, never be rated "underdogs"....and you could Rah-Rah yourselves silly.

Said like nothing happens but every Saturday in Fall teams gets together with their highly educated scholars and has a contest.
That was great in 1890 but now it’s a year round business win you get Ad time on National TV win Natty multiple years you get your pick of players the rest get the left overs. You pray you find a Diamond in the rough. Like HH but the odds are still against you. Actually if UGA wins this year they will be on their was to dominating the SEC EAST & Bama dominating the SEC West putting us at around 90% chance of 2 losses before we start since we play them yearly. Just look at Vegas it will show you the odds. This sport is 365 day sport and it is won in the off season or in other words recruiting. Yes a blind hog does find an acorn from time to time but don’t put your money on it.
Georgia winning does nothing to help us, pulling for your conference causes a comp between conferences bringing more eyes to the game and the ESPNs $ CBS etc.of the world win with higher Ad revenues.
Also some rednecks get to chant SEC …SEC….SEC…

You're rambling, so what your point? Is it recruiting? Did Bama winning hurt Georgia's recruiting effort? 🤔 Apparently not.

You're right Georgia winning does nothing to help us but a loss by them doesn't help us either. However, next year a win at home over the two-time champs most certainly would. That's the opportunity I want for the Vols. Beat the guy who wears the crown.

I will not be stand up cheering when Georgia scores, same for TCU. Let the best team win. To me that looks like Georgia.

Also I don't do the SEC chant thing, never have never will.

TCU Cinderella story is coming to an end. TCU hangs around early but is wore down by SEC talent in the second half. GA by 21 unfortunately.

Dawgs roll. Stetson makes history. He and Kirby get statues. Basically it. TCU doesn't have a chance. OSU was the only shot to beat GA and they blew it, royally....

If we could recruit as good as they could we would. UGA wing another NC just puts us further behind them in recruiting.

They won the 2021 title and signed exactly one consensus five star the following recruiting class. The way it is being described here, if they win another, next year they will interview all the five stars and reject the ones they don't want.

Alabama and Georgia cannot/will not sign them all. Tennessee has a great recruiting selling point: beat three out of the last four National Champions and gave the (potentially) current year Champions a game at their place. Beat Alabama and Georgia and the Vols can beat anybody and win national titles. The divisions are probably going away with the 12-team playoff anyway.

Yeah, when the Vols win, want it to be clear they beat the best there was, no question. It is going to be a difficult final for the dawgs as they got beat up against the buckeyes and I do not think they will cover the spread. TCU is a tough, hard-nosed bunch who do not quit. But in the end, the walk-on QB does his magic again in the 4Q and the Dawgs win two in a row. I'm pulling for them.

So far UT has not..This year shows the same.
Guess we'll see what the following year brings after we stomp their azz in Knoxville.

TCU Horned Lizards will get it done, Kirby Smart will give himself a stroke with all the whining he does. Like I said I don't drink the conference koolaid crap.
First quote I got from a Ga fan after their home field escape win was , We didn’t play are best game. WTF ever , either you win or you lose. I could say that about every Tennessee loss in the schools history. Got to love homerville fans.

Uh. He plays qb. The most important position on the team. Per everyone here and the media and most actoss the country, bennett IS GAs liability. until he proves otherwise which for some read people just can’t except he is a great college qb.
Don’t know why… he continues to prive it week in week out.
