Who You Got?

Georgia has just played 3 true road games, Kentucky and Miss State and Missouri and had to squeak out a 4th quarter comeback vs Missouri, think about that. So, it wouldn't surprise me if TCU beats them. They played a tough schedule and played every week after their Sept. 14th BYE week they just looked tired in their Conference champ game. I think they will bring it. Hide and watch.
Yep. Georgia beat up on a bunch of overrated mediocre at best SEC schools. Only played two tough teams OSU and Tenn.

Hunker down slimy frogs!!!

* I own the rights to that

UT at Athens where UT couldn't hear enough had to go to silent count. Also played OSU in Atlanta and the fans where 70 to 75% UGA and OSU had to also go to silent count. This California championship will be the farthest they've played from home so we shall see how it plays out. May go just like the spread says, we shall see.

The Horned Frogs are real, and they are going to give the dawgs fits on both sides of the ball tonight. Personally, I don't have a dawg or frog in this game, so could give two s**** who wins.

It's that SEC pride thing i've never understood and never will. To each his own though. Whatever floats your boat.

I think a lot of older guys like me tend to pull for the conference because we can remember when the mid western schools always got the benefit of a doubt based on perception until the SEC as a whole started owning Big 10 teams and ND in bowl games. It's easy now to hate an SEC opponent and still enjoy the perception that the SEC is the best but trust me, if the top end of the SEC starts losing games vs TCU and the middle of the SEC can't compete with the top end of the Big 10, ACC etc, getting 2 in the playoff and multiple group of 6 games will come to an end.

Only way TCU has a chance is a massive disparity in quarterback play, ie Bennett forgets how to play football and Duggan goes out of his mind. Not likely to happen because very little is asked of Bennett and conversely Duggan is likely to have linemen and linebackers in his face all night.

TCU will beat them . More battle tested. Georgia only beat two teams that were any good Tenn and OSU . The rest kinda sucked.

What team has TCU beaten that was good? Michigan?
You fellas outta be pulling for the SEC to win. It helps our strength of schedule and if we are planning on being in the top four conversations like this year, the more elite that UGA and Bama and UF and LSU and aTm (and therefore us) look - the better.
All that typed, I’ll laugh my ass off if UGA loses- but I don’t think that will happen.

UGA winning another NC does absolutely NOTHING to help us in the slightest. Strength of schedule is meaningless now.

I cannot understand why any Tennessee fan would want our conference champion to lose in any game, besides the one they play against us.
What are you saying...?? You want a team that beat our Vols by two touchdowns to be defeated..?? I'm sorry...I don't get it.
I'm looking forward to enjoying watching Georgia put 50 on TCU while holding them to ( maybe) a field goal or two.

IF they had beaten the brakes off OSU and were facing MICH and could duplicate that outcome, I would pull for them to do so in a manner that would elevate UT and BAMA (since they won) above the big 10'ers in the final poll. Maybe our bowl victory over a recent NC and higher ranked team and our head to head win over Bama would help us pass them. Now that it is not possible, I would prefer sending them into a tailspin of Kirby can't win the big one by their bottom feeders and create an air of vulnerability for next year. I think that is a better benefit to UT under these circumstances. The conference can still sell quite a record of participation in the NC game. Win or lose with their recent history they will have a lot to sell on the recruiting trail, just like Bama did with this last class. That said, since I desire it, I don't predict a GA loss.

I am really hoping TCU pulls this out. I live in Athens and if UGA loses tonight, this whole place will be in complete mourning mode. I'll love every damn second of it too.

The enemy of my enemy is not my friend. He's just another enemy.
I like the SEC more than I dislike other conferences.

In this instance I prefer to recruit as a 2 loss team against a 1 loss team, not a two time defending undefeated National Champion, that cost my team by squeaking by OSU and deprived of the opportunity to humble Michigan. TCU messing up the whole deal is just a bonus for me.

Don't think them finishing 2nd instead of 1st is going to impact the SOS calulation much.

All I know is that it's Red and Black day today at my son's school and he obliged by wearing his Jaylen Hyatt dark mode jersey.

Winning back to back championships gives them power in the living room. These living rooms are where future games are won and lost. UGA winning or SEC teams winning does not help us in any way. Its of little consequence who we pull for but thats my reasoning.
It also arguably could move them past us historically. I don’t want to be the 3rd best program in SEC History. Until this year, our history is all we’ve had over the last 15 years. The

Eh. Uga is loaded. TCU played in a bad conference and had miracle wins against mediocre teams. Even Michigan is just average but TCU still needed horrific officiating and a ton of breaks to barely win that game. Sadly, our best shot of shutting up the dawgs sailed wide wide wide left on new years.
Big XII was the second best conference in the country this year, and it wasn’t particularly close.

They were incredibly deep from top to bottom. They didn’t have any elite teams (if you don’t count TCU), but even the SEC had more bad teams than the Big XII.

I have always rooted for any SEC team that is playing in a bowl or championship game. I have zero connection to TCU. I think the championship game was between Georgia and Ohio St.---TCU don't think can hang with Georgia. Georgia fans don't rub me like some others ( Bama/South Carolina )

Dawgs 52-17
TCU ain’t getting two pick sixes. Ga doesn’t miss tackles like Mich.
some of y’all been licking toad and are High . High.

TCU just to knock UGA down a peg. I'm hoping UGA is overlooking them like some on here are.

I expect UGA to be tight and TCU has nothing to lose.
