Why ain't anyone talking about Bru McCoy?

I think he’s faster than what we’ve witnessed. Basically two off-seasons at USC working out on his own with no nutritionist. Uncertain on his eligibility upon reporting to UT. Weight gain and fighting through season long nagging injuries and being the third option on the passing tree much of the year. Started getting a glimpse of his true explosiveness against Clemson and Kurt Schmidt had him over a calendar year. Fully expect his Combine numbers to surprise some when it happens.

Our WR room is rock solid and I hope we show more 4 wideout looks this year. Bru is an ideal possession / stick mover, and if he is more explosive this year, as says Heupel, we will set up DBs with double moves when needed. He is similar to how Jennings was, not great speed but difficult to tackle.

Bru, Dont'e, RK, & Squirrel
That's going to be the best WR group in the country this year. We honestly have everything. Big, Physical, & Fast. You got a big time 5⭐ Possession WR (Bru). He is going to move the chains and dominate in the Red Zone. A couple Big time Deep Threats (Dont'e & Squirrel). They'll do exactly what Jones, Payton, & Hyatt did before them. Get matched on a Safety and run right by him. And a 4th guy that just makes big plays (Keyton). Joe might throw for 4k this year.

Please forgive me if this turns out to be the stupid post of the year, but how come there isn't much talk about Bru?

Just wondering if Jaylen Wright has improved his pass catching. He appears to be a great back and has solved his fumbling problems but this offense needs a back that can catch the ball. Cam Seldon? Would like to hear some discussion on the topic?
Yessir...get him on the field!

Don't take this the wrong way because I think McCoy is a very meaningful piece for this team... but he's more of a possession type receiver. To date, Keyton has shown much more ability to get behind D's. If we're going to "talk" more about him... he needs to be more of a "big play" producer.

Any play that results in a Vols win, especially against those red teams, is a big play and I hope we have a bunch of them this year. I don’t care, and the team shouldn’t care, who makes the big plays if we work together to take the NCAA Championship Trophy from the Dawgs. How sweet it would be to take their third win….

You may be right. I wouldn't be surprised if he runs around a 4.56-7 at the combine. We'll see.

Well, he certainly isn't in the limelight, so I understand your inquiry about him. He's a freaking stud. Did you see those hands on the TD pass in the Orange Bowl? Milton threw a rocket, yet nestled softly in Bru's hands, two steps from the back of the end zone

Touchdown against pitt(that the coach is still arguing over) 73 yards pass against Florida, big catch against bama, touchdown against Clemsom . Several catches where he bulldozed db after the catch to make QST down. And that's just off the top of my head, how much bigger play maker does he have to be and don't forget the escort he gave Hyatt in the Missouri game... he can do it all.

He isn't good at getting behind Ds. That's my point. Do you disagree?
