The funniest comedians are the ones whose politics remain a mystery.

The moment one becomes overtly political they’ve effectively turned off half of the audience.

One of the reasons I love VolNation is people on here are freaking hilarious with the jokes. And it is not the liberals. They tend to be about as funny as week old cow pies although @DinkinFlicka serves up some good ones at times.

I prefer my government smaller than most of republican voters around here. I'm just not phobic of alternative lifestyles or hard for having a massive military budget.

Go to the meme thread and get back to me. It's essentially a collection of old white dudes laughing at their own farts.

Sometimes I wonder why we argue. I am all about very small government, know Eisenhower was dead on right about the MIC.

You're right some people seem phobic about other life styles, but I think most of us just get our backs up when the Alphabet people tell us we have to affirm them in their lifestyles and applaud their public exhibition of it.

Put another way, I could care less about what someone does in privacy of their home. I would not condone the persecution of and have defended people of alternative lifestyles from personal and judgemental attacks. But don't tell me and my kids, etc. that those lifestyles are just like normal evolutionary biological advantageous behaviors. That nature has not figured out how to distinguish male and female in the last 165+ million years, so we need to pay for Dr. Mengele- and Moreau- style human butchery and expirementation to make everyone feel better. (Not saying that is your position, I do not know what your thoughts are on it)

There's some stupid stuff, I'll give you that. "The left can't meme's is a popular saying for a reason. Honestly, I don't recall memes hating gays, you'd have to quote them to remind me. I've seen several making fun of people pretending they're another gender. That is funny, because make believe usually is.
