Why are Nathan's hot dogs so freaking good?

Don't like the spices they put in Nathan's. Ball Park beef hot dogs are very hot doggish.

OK - going to find out this evening. Will be grilling Nathan's, Park's Finest Smoked Hickory, and OM's Select Angus. Have already eaten HN, Beef OM, and regular Ball Park with HN being better. Going to add on some Guy Fieri's Tequila Lime Chicken Sausage as well. Got some good fixin's. Skyline Chili, sauerkraut, sweet cole slaw, relish, etc.

Hebrew National is my brand of choice. Especially those quarter pound hot dogs. Giggity

I like both the Nathan's and the Hebrew National. There is 3rd brand we also use depending on sales, Coleman 100% beef are also great.

I'm officially worried about Freak. This thread is almost a day old and he hasn't commented. Hopefully he's just in a hot dog induced Cima and can't type.

Yes!

I converted a friend of mine to Nathan's. He swore up and down that Ball Park Beef franks were the best. I'd never tried them myself so I bought some just to try. I did a side by side comparison and Nathan's won hands down. I finally convinced him to buy a pack of Nathan's and compare them himself. He's been buying Nathan's ever since. :)

I think Nathan's marinates their hot dogs in crack.

I'm not sure exactly. It was a quick hardware maintenance but then site didn't come back up right away and had to be restarted. Hopefully all is back to normal but let me now of you see anything wonky... apart from the normal wonkiness. :)

Nathan's are awesome. If you're ever in Chicago try some wieners from Vienna Beef. They are great as well.
