Why are NCAA athletes drug tested?

If you beat the $**t out of your wife & kids you got bigger problems than pot or alcohol. It's the same old pothead song & dance though.

Singing and dancing sounds better than dead around a phone pole with your girlfriend dead next to you and your little brothers head in her lap.

Btw alcohol has way worse physical and social negatives than most anything.

It is possible for someone to legally smoke/consume weed. The argument that "it's illegal" is not good enough.

I think that you misunderstand. Student athletes are not necessarily breaking the law by consuming weed.

oh yeah, they might have a prescription. Cataracts are a serious issue with 18-22yo college students

But they are breaking the "laws" set forth by the governing body of collegiate athletics. Why those laws exist in the first place is simple, the AA wants it that way. I dont agree with it, but I dont run the AA

Hope you had some weed to ease your suffering.

Me too. You know the hell I went through?

Muscle relaxers, pain meds, sleeping pills, anti depressants, multiple surgeries, missed out on playing football at Tennessee.

I had lunch with Fulmer in Dec 01 and asked me to walk on in the fall. Well that wreck derailed one of my lifelong dreams.

Yeah. I'd have traded all my pills for POT.

Do you not understand the negative effects of pharmaceutical drugs?

Enjoy your alcohol and the trailer you live in.

Pot didn't ease the suffering after the accident but your mom did when I broke my ****!
You know. You're an inconsiderate a******.

You should be ashamed but your probably downing a few shots right now. So you don't care.

I hope it doesn't happen to you.

Oh who was that Kaitlyn girl that just died? I bet you'd throw the pot issue in her face too huh?

Classy.

Wait are you sure you're not a Bama fan?

I'm pretty sure you are!

If you smoke weed chances are you would've been kicked off anyway.

Recreational marijuana use is not illegal everywhere. Student athletes could be consuming in a place where it is legal. I was simply stating that I think the "it's illegal" claim is not sufficient when student athletes could be legally consuming weed.
