.Same issue from seasons past. Bad luck? Tender players? I mean no other team in NCAA ever have to deal with high numbers of injuries...that is an exclusive thing for Tennessee.
Just glancing at it, seems like we are maybe on the upper end of the normal range. Clemson, Florida, and OSU are definitely hurting!.
Injuries per team in college football, interesting. College Football Injuries 2023-2024 - Full Injury Report for Nov 27, 2023
Football is a rough sport and players get hurt. This year has been a bad year for injuries but it doesn't mean they are out of shape. The lineman flopping after an extra point appears to be giving the defense a little extra break. What is hurting us is the lack of quality depth. If you watched the Georgia vs Georgia Tech game, the Dawgs had 4 of their best offensive players out due to injury. They simply stuck 4 more 5* players in their spots and never missed a beat. We don't have that right now..
It seems like a lot of Tennessee players got hurt this year and I have seen several tapping out of games apparently because they were tired or out of breath. True? What to do?
.
Nah I see what he means. Wright literally looks to the sideline and taps his helmet after running like two plays max. These other teams have studs that run all game. This is just an example off the top of my head. I understand that he still had a great year statistically. You’ve seen “several”? That literally happens all the time.
But the PAT injury never stops play. It’s stopped for commercials for 3.5 minutes anyway. Usually it’s over when they come back. I don’t understand it but don’t confuse the 2. They’re completely different scenariosSame number as our players after every PAT. We don't get to biatch about fake injuries. We did it ALL YEAR.
Both are intentionally faking an injury to gain an advantage. It's either right or wrong. Anything else is just we tell ourselves to justify itBut the PAT injury never stops play.
