On the other hand, if given the choice between people asking CBJ for retweets and tweeting at him that they don't want him here (like many did shortly before he was hired) I'd much rather have to scroll through and ignore the former.

I agree. I hope he has a publicist who oversees his accounts. This is embarrassing for those of us Vol Fans who post and act like we have some sense of decency."

Idk if you understand the twitter world at all like some who have stated on here. But getting re-tweeted is equivalent to someone "liking" your status on Facebook and some think it's cool. some much more than others obviously and it is kind of crazy lol

Fail.

When you follow someone on twitter, you see what they tweet, or post. Butch Jones' twitter handle re-tweeted those tweets (in other words, copied the tweet, and tweeted it). Anyone who follows CBJ could have easily seen those with zero amount of "creeping".

It's already starting to happen. I'm telling you guys, this coach on twitter thing is going to end horribly... This is just a terrible idea -- and especially with our neurotic fan base...

You're right. Can you imagine when he loses a game? Fans will be all over his twitter account like white on rice. Idiot fans will be coming out of the woodwork to voice their stupid opinion about how bad our coach is.

Agree, I think the board was much better without the "likes." I've seen posters telling other posters that he/she "liked" their post & asking for a "like" in return. Really? It is really sad & it takes away from the discussion at times. I wonder if Freak would consider removing the like option if VN voted & the majority wanted to do away with it. I may be in the minority but I just think the board was better before likes. Too much like fishing going on. JMO

Good grief, I didn't even think about that. I can only imagine what those tweets would look like. I think twitter can be used as a great recruiting tool these days if used correctly but having to deal with idiotic fans can't be much fun.
