Why Are't We Seeing Washpun More?

Personally I don't think Miller or Washpun will be back next year. Miller is just in a position where he won't be used cause to much talent in front of him. Washpun was taken because of desperation with having only one pg. He is not an SEC pg at all. Not sure you can teach your primary ball handler how to dribble the ball going into his Soph. year.

Just think that after getting his feet wet a bit, CCM will be on some better recruits than what he had to take in his short time of recruiting after he took the job. They had their chance, if they do not develop or CCM thinks that they will probably not be serviceable, then he will probably cut then. Happens all the time.

The stud JUCO pg that could possibly come in could be Chris Jones. That would put Golden at the 2.

i think if washpun is not here next year it will be his decision i dont think ccm will try to influence him to leave. the way he talks about him and knew he was a project i just dont see him telling him he has to leave, maybe wes decides he wants to though on his own.

and i am completely against jones being here. he is a stud but i just personally do not want him here and i dont think im the only one. i would be shocked if he winds up here, i just dont see it being in the best interest of either party.

I think Washpun will be used as a situational player, primarily for his defensive skills.
Don't think he'll play much point next year.

Problem solved. Martin said he'll slide Woolridge to the 3 to make room for Stokes and let Richardson / Tatum bring the ball up when Golden is taking a break. So that's that on Washpun.

I'd rather see Woolridge at the 3 anyway. He isn't a 4 and he'll never be physical enough to be a 4. He doesn't need to see the floor more than 10 min a game. Washpun, 5 min max. Golden has been playing more minutes than anyone unless he's in foul trouble. Just hope he doesn't hit a wall towards the end of the season.

On Golden. Someone said Golden has been bad from 3. You can't criticize him for taking shots. A shooter always shoots until he makes it. Just one can change his flow.

Exactly why I say there is no reason to go get another pg, ccm wants ours playing 30-32 mins that leaves 8 for another pg. josh/tatum can fill that role for 4 minutes each shouldn't be asking that much. Personally, I'd say let josh handle it to give him a little break on guarding the oppositions best player. Maybe when his guy goes out golden goes out and he moves to point.

was it vol calls or the post game to the game or what i am curious to listen to it, i think all those are online.

i think ccm realizes that golden, stokes, maymon, hall, tatum, and richardson our by far our best players and give us the best chance to win. he is going to pile the minutes on these players as much as they can handle.

yemi's minutes are gone thats where it starts, after that it will probably be mcbee, mcrae and woolridge each losing some minutes.

the rotation pretty much was this pre-stokes...

PG: golden 31/richardson 9
SG: richardson 16/mcbee 18/mcrae 6
SF: tatum 28/mcrae 12
PF: maymon 28/woolridge 12
C: hall 25/woolridge 10/yemi 5

now with stokes it will look about like this...

PG: golden 32/richardson 8
SG: richardson 17/ mcbee 13/ mcrae 10
SF: tatum 28/ woolridge 8/ mcrae 4
PF: stokes 28/maymon 12
C: maymon 18/hall 22

this make look a little different from game to game, i would think minutes will vary for mcbee, mcrae, and woolridge and whoever is playing better will get more minutes that night. also, stokes may not get quite that many minutes starting out probably by uconn or the next game i would expect him to be starting but not until then.
