Why did Georgia not offer Dobbs?

There's a massive amount of legitimate prospects in Metro Atlanta area. Logistically they just can't offer everyone. That being said, the fact that UGA can't maximize on the amount of in-state talent they have is mind-boggling to me. Gwinnett County alone probably has just as much talent/prospects if not more than most of the state of Tennessee, at least in my opinion. Rant aside, I for one hope four years from now UGA feels the same bitter regret that we've felt in the past about not seriously pursuing players like Patrick Willis and Randall Cobb in-state and are left asking "what the hell were we thinking?"

Good Post!

Well the thing about Ramsey is, the offense he played in was probably about 80% running and option.

Go to Tucson and tell the University of Arizona that they're just Arizona State University by any other name. You will not depart with your life. On being shipped home, take a detour to Phoenix. Be sure a pre-written note is placed on your corpse that says Arizona State University is the University of Arizona by any other name. The ASU will bring you back to life and kill you again. I lived in Arizona before. If you think the bad blood betwit the UT and VU is bad, you don't even know what bad is. UA fans went to a ASU football game in Mesa in droves to cheer for UCLA. ASU fans went to a NCAA preliminary tournament practice facility where the UA team was practicing. The UA had 3 point sharp shooter Steve Kerr. The ASU fans chanted, "Steve, Steve, where's your dad?" over and over. To understand this, Steve's father was one of the slain hostages in that Lebanon incident when Reagan was President. The hatred between the two is SICK. So you go to Arizona and tell these people what you said above. Finally, what you said would be equivalent if they said the UT and TSU were one and the same. Or worse yet, that the UT and VU are the same. I know you're just being snide, but having lived there and seen what I've seen, it just stuns me to this very day.

Wow..... You've seen some things man and some stuff!

Go to Tucson and tell people you work for border patrol and you won't be around for long either!

Unofficially, I did. Living on land close to the border for a while, you used to just get illegal crossers. But later, hardcore criminal elements who actually invaded outlying homes and at times killed the occupants. Let's just say that what was once an era of maybe giving some desperate thirsty bunch some water and a bit of food and send them on their way changed to the need for lethal responses.

It's not really that bad but I do have a question. Why did they go watch a football game in Mesa? Even UofA students should be smarter than that

My mistake, I meant Tempe. They are fairly close and to be honest I often got the towns confused when driving back and forth between Tucson and Phoenix. I used to do the same thing when using I-8 to San Diego and meaning to gas up and have a bite to eat in Gila Bend before doubling back to I-8. Time and again I'd either turn into some little place called Smygr or something or overshoot into another little place called Bosque or something. I don't know why to this day. Shirley said it was the monotony of dessert driving. I think it's being stupid when you know better but repeat the same thing more than once.
