Goodole, don't be offended. Its just that this topic has been beat to death on here and most people (not all, but most) are over that loss. Heck, I'm almost over the Auburn loss, myself!!
Your question is legitimate, but there is a tenor to it that suggests that you don't think that Florida should have won at UT this year and I cannot agree with you. In fact, I think the only reason Florida almost managed to win at Auburn -- despite the hostility we fought through there -- was because we came back and won the game against UT at UT, when down by ten points.
Gator teams of old would have folded like a cheap tent and whined the whole way home. I know there will be some complaining about the call on Leak tonight. Whatever. In about three days, my guess is Meyer will be screaming at anyone on the team who brings it up because its over and done and nothing to be done about it.
Now, we do have the luxury of being able to recover from losing to Auburn. I admit that and that makes it a little easier to be so forgiving of it. Florida still controls its destiny as far as SEC and BCS is concerned and may even still have a shot when all is said and done at playing for a national title.
UT's odds are slim on that score. And largely because of the outcome of the Florida game. And so I get why it is harder to put behind you. But you don't have much choice, do you?
