The guy is 71st in the country, has a 10-2 record in the big east conference, and he is still being out recruited by USF, Cincy, Uconn, Rutgers, and Pitt. If he is pulling that type of the recruiting class in the big east with a 10-2 record, how is he going to come in to the SEC with a team comming off of a second consecutive 5-7 record and comepete with Saban, Miles, Spurrier, Franklin, and Richt when it comes to recruitting?

I don't get where this he can recruit "fact" is coming from.

Bc he's a good recruiter. We've spent countless hours in the Charlie Strong thread arguing about it. Sift through it all. He's been named to the rivals Top 25 recruiters a few times as well as an espn top recruiter list. He was the driving factor behind the defenses put together during UFs NC runs. He is now in the big east and has pulled in decent classes which is saying something. Enough said.

Decent classes? Against big east schools? I think there is plenty more to be said.

He has room for a class of about 12. Look at how many commits all the teams above him have.

Is it possible he could not recruit too well at UL because it is a private school w/ higher academic standards? Add to it, he was trying to sell Big East to 5 * kids who could go to SEC or Big 10..Just wondering?

Just the opposite. There were several kids from Alabama a few years ago that went to UL because they could not get into SEC schools.

Recruiting rankings for the current class mean nothing since better prospects typically wait until later to commit to programs. Not to mention the fact that UofL is a bball school in a boring city in what is basically the MidWest. You aren't gonna have recruits knocking down the door to come there. He's pulled in some good players for them such as Bridgewater and Dawson, and another WR from Miami Northwestern whose name I forget. Strong will recruit just fine at UT. Heck, Dooley recruited decently well at Tennessee and he coached at dadgum LA Tech.

Dooley came in when kids could still remember when UT didn't competely suck.

Big east means that caliber of player man. He was hell at Florida and has connections. Next couple of months will be fun.

Every team you mentioned has at the minimum 5 more commits than Louisville does. Also, if you look at average star rating Louisville has the highest.

If he can't out recruit Big East, how will he out recruit established winning coaches in the SEC???? It's not going to get easier to recruit here, it is going to get HARDER to recruit here.

I explained to you why he is below the other big east schools. He can sign 12. They can all sign full classes.
